Robinson scored 6+ points so it was a given Poole was going to make that shot

I am not sure why everyone is giving so much credit to Jordan Poole. By now we should realize the real hero was Duncan Robinson keeping the streak alive of Michigan being undefeated when he scores 6+ points. In all seriousness, I have not had a roller coaster of emotions like that in a long time. I tried to count Michigan out several times, but every time they found a way back. A 5 point trip down the floor!?!? A Legendary buzzer beater...amazing.

I don't know how statistically significant it is, but it held for one more game.

I am shocked how clunky the offense has been in the tournament. Listening to Beilein's post game interview was interesting. Teams are defending them differently than they expected. I know he will come up with a few wrinkles before Thursday.

First off give props to Montana and Houston, two good D teams. However, more times than not, think we are getting some good looks. Just guys like Mo and MAAR missing more frequently. I would say both teams did a good job keeping Z out of the lane.

They haven’t been getting a lot of great looks. And when they have....well...they have shot poorly.

The good news is we’ve survived playing pretty bad on offense.

Btw...These late games have been brutal. And now we head to the West coast? That sucks.

You mean "too little stock"?

This has held up all season long.  We're 26-0 when he scores six or more and 4-7 when he doesn't.  That's a heck of an indicator.

There is logic here.  When he's hitting his threes, not only is that more points for us obviously, but it also forces the defense to account for him at all times, which can open up driving lanes for his teammates.  Just being able to stick him in the corner puts pressure on a defense.

I read somewhere that the NCAA tournament uses a different basketball (Wilson?) than we usually use.

I wonder also if the sightlines are just odd in that building.

Great ball, probably best on the market. But, teams practice and use it throughout the year. They have gobs of balls, in pretty much every brand.

Since BTT, the last 2 weeks they would've practiced with this Wilson ball only. Doubt it has anything to do with the ball.

I don't know if that was part of the plan, but his 11 points helped us stay in the game long enough for Poole to win it.

We were down 6-1 five minutes into this game, having missed every field goal attempt.  Then Robinson drilled back-to-back threes to give us a spark.

Robinson drew my ire early in season, from his Donnal like play last season. Now he has morphed into a head, clutch player, and I'm happy.

People saying Moe has been sick, we ran into some great D and had some clear rust.

Sometimes facing the end provides perspective and freedom. Here's to hoping we come out loose next week
