That first picture is actually 3 good reasons. And those aren't even the hottest chicks on campus. I graduated from Clemson, and there is some wonderful scenery on the campus, if you know what I mean. Only school that I've been to with better scenery is UGA. And that includes Bama, South Carolina, Florida and FSU. Clemson girls are something else.

Now, you wouldn't kick any of them out of bed, but they're cute, but not drop dead gorgeous. The shorts probably make a lot of things look good.  But a quick google search shows a lot more..enticing...pictures:

I have a buddy that is a big FSU fan and thus follows the ACC closely.

1)  In the Orange Bowl the Clemson players were spotted out at the clubs the night before the game, as late as 8 AM.  It is no wonder they struggled so mightily that night.

2)  Clemson is definitely dirty.  That is like saying the sky is definitely blue, however.  There was some great chatter on The Fort today about this, including former Wolverine Will Heininger calling the Tigers, "one of 'those' programs".

I knew a former Clemson baseball player that explicitly started that they are dirty. While he had nothing to say about monetary benefits (I mean come on, it was baseball), he started clearly that education is of no concern to athletes. When I asked him what classes he took and what they were like, he had no response because he never had to go. He was 26 at the time, and this was two years ago.

To Clemson means to take preseason hype and win some early games to move up into the top 7, only to loose to NC State or Wake the next week. To pull a Zook, I believe is to punt on 4th and 1 at your opponent's 39 yard line and the give up an 85 yard touchdown drive.

Good luck young man, best of luck and may UM never have to face you... I will never figure out why so many elite recruits still choose Clemson

I get the pull of schools like USC, Oregon, SEC, FSU, Alabama, etc, (some combo of weather, tradition, winning, NFL pedigree) but Clemson???

Clemson DLinemen have been going first round or early second round the past few years.  This actually does not surprise me a whole lot.  Sure he is passing on Bama, but the DLinemen Clemson has turned out is a pretty good list.  That is the one area that I think they pull good talent on a regular basis

Can't say I didn't see this one coming. He would be crazy to not go to a team that plays the best competition with a great coach and competes for a national championship every year. Wait, Clemson? Shit, nevermind.

No way.  They already have 5 3-stars (only 2 of which are 5.7s) and a 2-star committed.  Unless those guys decommit or they absolutely KILL it the rest of the way, they won't be in the top 5.  Or they sign a huge class, which I suppose is possible.  But outside of Nkemdiche and O'Daniel, their class isn't look good at all so far.

and by that I mean Clemson will get some crazy good recruits, have a nice 9-3 year, build-up lots of hype for the next year, get epically blown out by someone, lose a few games inexplicably, and finish that season 6-6.

Repeat until world ends

He is at the Clemson camp this week and must of seen enough to pull the trigger. Huge Get for Clemson. A lot of positivity around there right now including a new indoor football center under construction

William Burt was at the Clemson camp this weekend. He rushed for 1000+ yards & 10 TD's last year as a sophomore in triple A competition. This is his second year going. He's getting a lot of d1 looks.

No doubt he'll improve their defense.  It always amazing me though that Clemson gets a bunch of 5 star athletes and does nothing with them.  They'll blow out a top ten team them get 70 put on them in a bowl game.  Last year was just another chaotic year there.

I wonder if that DC got the pink slip in the 1st or 2nd half?

"most experts still expect Nkemdiche to wait until Signing Day or later to ... actually sign."

Good thing we have the insight of those experts.  I, for one, would like to hear from the ones who don't expect him to wait unti signing day to sign.

Just had to log in to say this is a great quote and made me laugh out loud at work.

Although watch out because I heard most experts still expect Shane Morris to wait until Signing Day to actually sign as well. Get Nervous!

His top schools before he picked Clemson was straight off of Sesame Street.  One these schools just doesn't belong: Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Brigham Young...say what?

Good for Clemson. I'm happy he's not going to Alabama, or the SEC for that matter.

But I can't say I saw this coming. I thought he was going Alabama or Georgia.

This should definitely help us to stay in the running for the #1 class in the country.

It's Chick-fil-A, thank you very much

I've been to Clemson for a game before. The tailgating is awesome, the campus is beautiful, the women are gorgeous, the stadium is loud and the weather is consistently nice, and Clemson has a nice track record of producing NFL talent.

Clemson, South Carolina is beautiful...actually the whole state is pretty cool. Throw in death valley with a decent team, meh, I can see why.
