RJS offered by Oklahoma

Submitted by LarryHarrison on

Info is behind the paywall. That is his biggest offer to date and I'm sure, as of now, he is going to hold them in high regard. Thoughts?

Stalk. Big Time. I enjoy following recruiting and Michigan players. I also follow Rivals and Scout but just the headlines. There is wayyyy too much info out there that is free. Think ESPN putting premium info out that is from local newspapers where you can just go to the newspapers site and read it. Twitter, FB, and newspapers is where I find my info. I also discuss a lot of these things with friends on gchat. I hope this answers yours and everybody's questions.

EDIT: Ted, I do not want a job. Thanks for thinking of me, though.

Most of my info comes from Twitter. I'll post the general gist a kid has during a scout or rivals interview, but I'm not going to post specific info or things that are hidden for a reason. I pay for the info, and I respect others who do as well. Check out my blog. I implore of you to find, anywhere in the 50 posts, information that you couldn't find publicly.

Oklahoma is a bigger offer then Michigan is arguable. If your considering just football, they have the edge because of performance over the last 3 years. Facilities favor Mich by an EDGE bc of the BIG HOUSE, academics favor Michigan by a land slide, weather favors Oklahoma and the conferences favors big ten may I remind you Nebraska just jumped ship that's comparable To psu leaving the big ten to the big 12, so to say the big ten is nuclear waste and worse than the big 12 is irrational, MICH tOSU NEB PSU WISC IOWA (MSU every once in a while) is better then Oklahoma Texas and OSU and your sleeper tamu

No one thinks Michigan is superior to Oklahoma right now. The fact is is that Michigan was far and away RJS's leader up until the last two weeks or so. Realize that not every recruit goes into the recruiting process with the same outlook or perspective toward schools, Larry.

With all due respect....OU will be a top 5 team next season. OU was #1 at one point last season. OU just had the number one overall pick and had that pick go and become the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. OU has not been out of the Top 25 in I don't know how long...and even when Bradford went down...they still were able to stay in the Top 25 if I am not mistaken. I think OU's offer is bigger than Michigan's at this point. Believe me I am in Big 12 country and hate OU with a passion....but they always have top notch LB's year in and year out and their defense tends to rank pretty high year in and year out.....And better believe if he RJS is on their radar he is on a lot of other teams radar as well.

To an unbiased observer, you're probably right. OU's offer is probably bigger.

But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We'll see who he chooses.

Is really the only school that i would worry about pulling him away from MICHIAGN. He is a top recruit and a Linebacker that we need!! With Fisher and Dior Mathis (Cass Tech) could help pull him to Oregon along with their different Uniforms every saturday.

@aaamichfan-

Absolutely beauty is in the eye of the beholder. At this point...right now...OU has the beauty. If Michigan had the beauty with Mattison then Kris Frost and Leilon Willingham would be Blue. All there is to it.

Do I think RJS will go Blue...not sure. Hope he does...but time will tell. The question posed earlier is if OU is the better offer and I believe it is at this stage of the recruiting game. And that is hard for me to say because I despise OU witha a passion....but I am not that blinded to see that they are a perennial Top 10 team year and year out. Michigan has lost that status in my view. I think they will get it back....but reality is .....right now..they are going to be on the outside looking in on some of these kids (not necessaily RJS) and this is what Hoke is in charge of doing right now.....changing that perception....and getting Michigan back as a force on the recruiting trail...
