Please post evidence that I have done so. I haven't. There is a lot of free info out there and most of the time I post things that are headlines and the rest is behind a paywall. Apparently you can't read, asshat.
February 15th, 2011 at 5:26 PM ^
So out of curiosity, is that why you just posted a topic about a pointless Gardner medical redshirt update about 10 minutes after Scout's Twitter informed me of the update in the pay forums? Or did you actually just facebook stalk him?
February 15th, 2011 at 5:57 PM ^
Stalk. Big Time. I enjoy following recruiting and Michigan players. I also follow Rivals and Scout but just the headlines. There is wayyyy too much info out there that is free. Think ESPN putting premium info out that is from local newspapers where you can just go to the newspapers site and read it. Twitter, FB, and newspapers is where I find my info. I also discuss a lot of these things with friends on gchat. I hope this answers yours and everybody's questions.
EDIT: Ted, I do not want a job. Thanks for thinking of me, though.
February 15th, 2011 at 6:09 PM ^
So are you saying that you do have a Rivals and Scout membership or do you just follow the sites and take the free stuff and headlines?
February 15th, 2011 at 6:12 PM ^
I don't have a subscription to either site. I just look at prospects offered and headlines. Some headlines need to be explored some but they give you the general info and then you have to search. Sometimes you find it and others not.

What you're selling....
February 15th, 2011 at 10:37 PM ^
I thought you said most of your info was from friends? Now I find out you only check out Rivals and Scout boards? I feel cheated.
February 15th, 2011 at 7:17 PM ^
I think FuManBlue is right about you. You are Adamum5.
February 15th, 2011 at 5:26 PM ^
You're confusing me now......so the "I get this info from friends" comment was just a lie? You do get all your info from Tom and Sam(xoxoxoxoxo)?
February 15th, 2011 at 5:43 PM ^
if any of you guys want info for players that go to mullen high in colorado there is a guy on the espn boards that lives in denver and his friend work for CU or something like that
February 15th, 2011 at 5:14 PM ^
Isn't that basically what you do? (Not that I'm complaining)
February 15th, 2011 at 6:16 PM ^
If he does then he should have his subscription revoked. It's funny how he ridicules me while he is the one who is actually in the wrong.
February 15th, 2011 at 11:10 PM ^
Most of my info comes from Twitter. I'll post the general gist a kid has during a scout or rivals interview, but I'm not going to post specific info or things that are hidden for a reason. I pay for the info, and I respect others who do as well. Check out my blog. I implore of you to find, anywhere in the 50 posts, information that you couldn't find publicly.
February 15th, 2011 at 5:13 PM ^
Brian,
I plead that you re-enact the "Democracy of the Neg" so the Haloscan era volume of asshat posting can immediately desist.
Warmest Regards,

Oklahoma is a bigger offer then Michigan is arguable. If your considering just football, they have the edge because of performance over the last 3 years. Facilities favor Mich by an EDGE bc of the BIG HOUSE, academics favor Michigan by a land slide, weather favors Oklahoma and the conferences favors big ten may I remind you Nebraska just jumped ship that's comparable To psu leaving the big ten to the big 12, so to say the big ten is nuclear waste and worse than the big 12 is irrational, MICH tOSU NEB PSU WISC IOWA (MSU every once in a while) is better then Oklahoma Texas and OSU and your sleeper tamu
February 15th, 2011 at 5:59 PM ^
It's like halfway through your post, you said "eff it, who needs punctuation?"
February 15th, 2011 at 5:13 PM ^
No one thinks Michigan is superior to Oklahoma right now. The fact is is that Michigan was far and away RJS's leader up until the last two weeks or so. Realize that not every recruit goes into the recruiting process with the same outlook or perspective toward schools, Larry.

This or the other one....
GO BLUE!!
February 15th, 2011 at 5:38 PM ^
Obviously the first one. But OU will be the #1 team come September. The point is is that being the #1 team is not the be all and end all when it comes to recruiting, though.
February 15th, 2011 at 5:58 PM ^
@aaamichfan
With all due respect....OU will be a top 5 team next season. OU was #1 at one point last season. OU just had the number one overall pick and had that pick go and become the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. OU has not been out of the Top 25 in I don't know how long...and even when Bradford went down...they still were able to stay in the Top 25 if I am not mistaken. I think OU's offer is bigger than Michigan's at this point. Believe me I am in Big 12 country and hate OU with a passion....but they always have top notch LB's year in and year out and their defense tends to rank pretty high year in and year out.....And better believe if he RJS is on their radar he is on a lot of other teams radar as well.

It also helps that Stoops is a defensive minded coach. Hoke is as well but Stoops has a much better track record (duh : p).
February 15th, 2011 at 6:44 PM ^
Does Stoops have a better track record than Mattison? That is the true question.
February 15th, 2011 at 6:47 PM ^
Close
February 15th, 2011 at 7:39 PM ^
Well, I would definitely say it's close, but Stoops doesn't have the NFL connections Mattison does.
February 15th, 2011 at 8:37 PM ^
Are you serious? How many national championships has Mattison won as a head coach? BCS berths as a head coach? Wins as a head coach?
February 15th, 2011 at 11:57 PM ^
NFL connections in recruiting are king. Stoops doesn't have any single thing on his resume that compares to coaching the Baltimore Ravens defense.
February 15th, 2011 at 6:19 PM ^
The reply button is there for a reason.
February 15th, 2011 at 6:42 PM ^
To an unbiased observer, you're probably right. OU's offer is probably bigger.
But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We'll see who he chooses.
February 15th, 2011 at 8:23 PM ^
Is really the only school that i would worry about pulling him away from MICHIAGN. He is a top recruit and a Linebacker that we need!! With Fisher and Dior Mathis (Cass Tech) could help pull him to Oregon along with their different Uniforms every saturday.
February 15th, 2011 at 9:58 PM ^
we don't completely implode during the season...he goes BLUE....
February 15th, 2011 at 10:25 PM ^
Well Mattinson has his work cut out for himself again.
February 16th, 2011 at 9:40 AM ^
@aaamichfan-
Absolutely beauty is in the eye of the beholder. At this point...right now...OU has the beauty. If Michigan had the beauty with Mattison then Kris Frost and Leilon Willingham would be Blue. All there is to it.
Do I think RJS will go Blue...not sure. Hope he does...but time will tell. The question posed earlier is if OU is the better offer and I believe it is at this stage of the recruiting game. And that is hard for me to say because I despise OU witha a passion....but I am not that blinded to see that they are a perennial Top 10 team year and year out. Michigan has lost that status in my view. I think they will get it back....but reality is .....right now..they are going to be on the outside looking in on some of these kids (not necessaily RJS) and this is what Hoke is in charge of doing right now.....changing that perception....and getting Michigan back as a force on the recruiting trail...
