Scout has something up too, but there's nothing revealing in the header.

Terry said in the scout article that he doesnt know what he is going to do now. However, they also interviewed Terrance and Tom Beaver said that before anyone panics, wait for that article. Thats the gist of the article.

IMO as long as Terrance does not visit UNC we do not have much to worry about. They want to attend school together and I doubt Terrance would go anywhere he hasnt visited.

Those who stay will be champions!

I certainly wouldn't panic if we didn't get the Talbotts, we already have 3 DT/DE tweeners and 2 other cornerbacks in this class + 2 in next years'. Safety is a much bigger concern right now and it would pain me to see Parker and Knight get squeezed out.

I wouldn't "panic" either if we didn't get the Talbotts, but, losing them would not be a good thing.

It seems like there's a sizeable number of people on this board (not saying this is you, I'm just using this as an occassion to mention it) that are almost hoping for the brothers Talbott to decommit, as if it'd be a good thing.

Firstly, that's never a good thing. Secondly, these kids are good prospects at positions of need. Thirdly - and I can't remember where I read this but it was somewhere on this board - RR is trying to re-cuild M's recruiting in Ohio and sees it as a key to our success. (Along w/ recruiting MI and PA and solidifying Florida as a pipeline) Being that the Talbotts are from Ohio, losing them could have future negative repercussions. So, losing them would not be good by any means. End of the world? No, but definitely not good.

It would be too strong to say I hope the Talbotts decommit, but I don't think it would necessarily be bad. The players we'd be losing are at positions we've recruited well and losing them would make room for higher rated players at a position of greater and more immediate need.

Generally speaking, decommits are bad, but there's also the issue of opportunity cost. We have to drop a player to get either Knight or Parker in. All guys considered at one time to be academic question marks have been reported to be in good standing (excluding Drake, of course). So to get Parker or Knight in it looks like we have to have a decommit, the question is just who would it be?

Galileo was also chastised.
