good luck with that
Rivals Staff Predictions
Chait is the obvious outlier there. I hope he's right. :)
The defense won't look great, but it will look better than it actually is, and the game will be in hand by the start of the fourth quarter.
lol I love this guy....it's like he's one of us
He - like Brian and Tim - has made the rarified leap from regular internet poster to blog analyst guy.
Everyone except Chait is full of shit. Michigan is either going to dominate or get dominated. They just chose the middle ground because they are indecisive.
Oh, and did we mention the 2010 rallying cry: Keep Scoring.
Oh, and did I mention that we have a new slogan for the site?
almost guarantees if RR is up 2 TDs and is in scoring position he's going for a touchdown, not out of poor sportsmanship but because if he takes his foot off the gas, who knows what might happen defensively.
Exactly, go for the jugular.
and sweep the leg!
Unsportsmanlike conduct, blue. 15 yard penalty from the spot of the foul, automatic first down.
I have always been one for showing good sportsmanship, and all, but, I say, if we can beat them by 70 I think we should do it. At this point we could use all of the style points we can get. Those voters like a blow out.
I honestly don't think the D will be that bad. The front seven should be solid, and while I'm sure the secondary will get ripped apart by a couple teams, I don't think it'll happen quite as often as people think. The fact that no one from the offense was moved to the D (despite us having ten million slot guys) suggests that the staff can't be that down on the guys at corner. Hey - it's my story and I'm sticking to it.
It seems like they told the writers to keep it close either way, and Chiat just said "Fuck it, all in."
is Chait THE_KNOWLEDGE? The predictions are too close...
right. M scores 42+ and wins by outscoring UConn.
How the heck can a state stop selling beer at 9PM? Yikes, especially when there is nothing else to do in the state.
Love this idea. A stompin to make all the critics eat it.
Man do I miss the days when we were picked across the board to win on any given Saturday, but I have to say this adds to the excitement. The underdog aspect. Against friggin UConn. ...in football. Hope it pisses the team off as much as me.
