I think it was a wakeup call, but our D is still pretty bad.

Now the odds are how long will the 2 backups get at QB is a bigger question to me.

UMass is a solid football team -- 1-AA teams are much more scary right now than middle-of-the-road MAC teams. We're still going to struggle on defense at times but we knew this in late July/early August. We should be OK in this one -- especially coming off a near scare vs. UMass. Michigan is going to want to devour anything that moves tomorrow.

If Bowling Green scores 35 I might take a bath with the toaster oven. Plugged in of course.
I think we rebound from last week. I'll take Craig Roh's word for it that a performance like last week will not exist for the rest of the season.

I'd practice without it plugged in first. You know, to get the logistics right.

Mr. Phil Connors to the MGoBlog discussion.

I believe we will impove tomorrow. They need to play with controlled anger. In case BG does put over 30 points I will contemplate taking an excessive amount of advil. Maybe like 6 or 7 pills, that ought to do it right? Well, if not, at least I'll get a lot of attention from people that know I am really depressed.

my guess is that you're going to need more than 6 or 7 to see any real adverse effects.
or you could throw in a couple shots of whiskey to go along with that. that'll do wonders for your liver. (bonus points if you use tylenol instead)
but i think the running a bath with a toaster plugged in is a faster way to make a cry for help.
p.s. i know you guys are joking but definitely don't do any of the above. totally joking here too.

I wound up huddled in the fetal position with the chills until I vomited. That sucked. If you're going to off yourself, there has got to be a less-painful method.

To God's ears.

to play at or near all-conference levels, will RVB wake up, and will Mouton's good games coincide with our big games? Those are the questions I think will determine if D improves from last year

I dont think giving BG a ass whoopin is very telling. How we fare against Indiana should give a better picture of whats ahead of ahead

Yeah, it's a little old.

Will Good Mouton show up against State, Iowa, Wiscy, OSU. Will Martin and Roh play at or near all conference this year, etc. No I don't think Bowling Green will do much other than allow them to get back on track

<br>I'm unable to use "BG" to mean anything other than Brandon Graham. It's still too soon

Unless Bowling Green shreds us (which would tell us a hell of a lot about our D), tomorrow will tell us very little about our D. We will learn more in during the following three weeks. If our defense looks all 1997 tomorrow, all that it means is that we can dominate inferior talent (see Baby Seal U clubbing, circa 2009). It has no bearing upon what will happen in the B10 part of our schedule.

is no baby seal. Expect to give up some yards, hopefully not a lot of points.
