Rivals pick Wiscy, 91% of America does too

All 4 of the Rivals "Experts" pick Wisconsin to win this game. So does 91% of America. If I remember right, 91% of America picked Florida to beat us in the Capital One Bowl. Here's hoping for a repeat.

4/4 Say tosu over Iowa, 76%.

4/4 Pick MSU over Purdue, 99% of America (Boiler-Down)

The closest matchup is Pitt vs South Florida, at 3/4 saying Pitt and 54% of America saying South Florida.

Not many close games this week. I'd be surprised if there were many upsets (from teams not starting with a "W" that is).

...And past performance is no indicator of future performance, that son, is why they play the game! Should Minn have beaten IL? Should Oregon have been pushed by Cal, THEN Cal, that same Cal which was smacked down by Nevada?  Yes, that same Nevada who was smacked down by Hawaii?  Va Tech will win the ACC...after losing their 2nd game of the year to, drumroll please, James Madison!!  Let our young men practice, prepare, and play the game...as for me and my house, we'll take our chances with MICH, Go Blue!!!

Oh! By the way...which Wisky team will show up, the one that laid an egg against both State and ASU? Or the one that played well against tosu and Iowa...and your looking for consistency?

You beat me to it. I was just going to post this. If i knew how to give you a +1 I would. lol. Michigan may get owned in  the trenches but Wisconsin will have their hands full with our skill guys on O. Denard will get back on track and I feel this game may have the potential to be a shootout. If Michigan can score early it will put a lot of pressure on Wiscy. I hope the D can carry over some momentum from last week's performance and take it to them. If MM is back and healthy we MIGHT be able to slow down their running attack. Personally, I would love being doubted by 91% of America. Time to prove everyone wrong just like in 07. HARD EDGE ALL WEEK!

Just take a look at last year's game film, that will be wisky's game plan this yr as well.  Our D will have to take something away, and based on the last couple of weeks, and no, I don't care about the opponents, they have been able to execute better, gain confidence, make stops, turn the other team over, and sell out for each other.  A perfect/near perfect game is coming...might it be this week?

Or other variations of the same instance, should be a permanent fixture in any and all Michigan fan homes, especially is you have a man-cave. Seriously, no matter how bummed I get about things that may happen, football related or not, I look at Brock and then STFU about my "problems". I mean, who that was there doesn't feel pride knowing that they can one day tell their kids/grandkids "I was there, and I saw a man walk."?

Also, obligatory HARRRRD EDGE!!!

I'm not surprised that Wisconsin is favored, but god, I hope we beat the smug piehole that is Bret Bielema.   I heard that clown on the radio today saying again how he wasn't running up the score against Indiana.

That's all well and good until you look at the drive chart.   Up 45-10 in the third quarter, with a 2nd and 7 at the IU 41, he has Tolzen throw two passes for 19 and 17 to set up a touchdown.  On the next drive, Tolzen goes 4-4 for 47 yards and a TD.   The next drive, he has his backup drop back three times (one complete, one incomplete and one pass).    The next drive was the 74-yd touchdown pass.   It's not until their last drive that they just ran the ball.

Now, yeah, Indiana played horribly, but Bielema is just stupid if he thinks that anyone outside of Kenosha is buying that he wasn't running it up.

i'm kinda indifferent to the whole situation, but i gotta ask, do you expect him to just keep running it from the third quarter to the end? as long as he isnt calling trick plays or anything, i dont have a problem with just letting the boys play. and i think he brought up a good point that because it's wisconsin, that people are freaking out. i'm not defending him, or scolding him. just trying to look at it fairly.

Just a thought.

But to your point, yeah, make a stop defense, make a stop.   Had the same issue as a grad student at Florida with the Ol' Ball Coach.  His defense against the accusations?  "My reserves are just runnin' the offense." Then Nebraska and Tommie Frazier happened in the NC game, and well, it kinda stopped.  I Had friends on that team...ugly memories! SMH!  Anyway, for argument sake, let's say it was true for UF, and, honestly, it kinda was, is this REALLY wisky's offense? Are they that pass happy all the time? Were the reserves in and doing the damage? No. No. And, no. Case closed.

That's right ...I said it!!  Like you said, 83 points, throwing late, and you weren't runnin' up the score?  Well, karma, payback, what goes around...pick your fav phrase, but the last time bucky went off, the 1st time for 70 against venerable Austin Peay, they were humbled on a road trip to MI by sparty.  This time they put up 83 on defensive juggernaut IN, to be followed by a road trip to, hmmm, MI..., well, may lightning strike again!  Plus, this team is still smarting from last yr when bucky tried to run up the score on us!  Yeah, I like the way this is setting up!! Go Blue!

A few weeks ago I felt that this team just had to get a couple of wins against Ill and PU and they could get all the pressure off their backs and play these final two games with that nothing to lose attitude.

No TO's, play loose, fly around and have the D playing with reckless abandon and we'll see what happens...

OT - Can we get some more photos of the "Down With Detroit" girl on the ad banner?  I'm down with that.

Wow the symbolism!  I went to school at UW, but am a lifelong Michigan fan and while I was there I talked a lot of shite to all the Bucky backers.  I want OSU real bad as we all do, but this is always a huge game for me too.  For the seniors!

If I was forced to bet everything I own on this game, I would probably take Wiscy.  Anyone with "common sense" would.  Fortunately, common sense doesn't always prevail in college football, and they do have to play the game on the field.

I know the odds are against it, and nobody in their "right mind" would believe it could happen, but can anyone imagine how great it would be if Michigan beat both Wiscy and OSU?  I think Ann Arbor would be known as a town where everybody has perpetually glazed eyes and permanent grins.  Sorta how it used to look before the $5 law got repealed.

I bet 30-40% of that 91% is trolls refreshing the page and voting for Wisky over and over b/c they don't have anything better to do.  UM is bowl-eligible and has major momentum going for them.  Wisconsin has size, experience, and a HURRD NOSED BIG TEN POWUR RUN GAME.  True, they have the edge, but barring a complete regression by the defense and/or Denard turning into a complete turnover machine, UM should be at least competitive.

Not surprising, they are after all ranked 7. Makes it that much more of an upset when it happens. 91% of the nation does not realize how much better our D is getting, and the writers are too lazy to find it out. Or they are haters.

I'd just LOVE to be in on the game planning against the badgers. I swear I'd come out in a power I with Denard under center, hand the ball to Hopkins off tackle 2X, then play action on 3rd down with Hemmingway crossing and Roundtree going post, and just turn Denard LOOSE on their asses!! He'd break contain(since they'd be anticipating pass and blitzing the house) and go to the HOUSE courtesy of out WR's excellent blocking downfield.

BRING ON THE BADGERS!!
