Josh Helmholdt from the Michigan Rivals site has been promoted to a new midwest recruiting analyst position.

For a while now we have complained of Rivals' lack of a midwest football analyst and blamed that as a reason we don't see so many highly rated high school kids coming out of our area.  We will see if this skews anything in how players are rated.

I spent some time at The Wolverine before landing here, and Josh is their version of TomVH (or Tom is our version of Josh, depending on your perspective).  He has really good insight and seems very respectful of the recruits.

Josh has seen his career take off in the last couple of years, being picked up by the freep and now this.  Hopefully this is another step in the right direction.

For a while now we have complained of posters' lack of a message board analyst and blamed that as a reason we don't see so many highly rated posts coming out of our area.  We will see if this skews anything in how people research their postings.

I don't mind if it's reposted a day or two later, or five minutes later, but ten hours later?   It's seven posts down
