As Richt goes, so goes Nauta?

Submitted by Ecky Pting on

Steve Lorenz posted that Jay Harbaugh is visiting with Isaac Nauta today, right on the heels of Georgia's dismissal of Mark Richt. The timing could not be better, so hopefully this will work to U-M's advantage in persuading Nauta to head north!

Remember the coach 'Brandon Brown era on here?

What a short-lived shitshow that was. I remember someone screenshotting his twitter account and it literally was 20 tweets in a row of him tweeting recruits saying "follow back".

Then someone made an account on here called "Follow Coach Brown".

I think this was when MWolverine was murdered by Brian, no?  I thought a lot of people were giving Brown crap for his posts during that time, much of it justified / much of it not, and Brian made with the hangman's rope.  Or maybe that was Chitown Blue?  Good posters both, challenged the board and made it think.  Chitown coulg be a bit racy, he may have been killed for an outrageous comment or two.

I too was startled by that.

Apparently the era of "film"has not hit rivals.

I mean cmon guys - he is a top 300 player at worst- you dont have the time to pop in film of a full 4-5 games at least of the top 300 players in the country that dont attend your camp.  What the hell do you do all day then?

Even worse - are you evaluating LINEMEN on 1 v 1 drills at your camps rather than you now - actual games.

I get that some of the HS competition makes the 1 v 1 battles in a HS game useless but still damn a stupid answer and ridiculous if true.  I assumed these guys were breaking down an entire year of jr and sr film in their evals.

Just going off their front page article on Richt Fallout.

Prediction: Odds are Georgia makes what Nauta deems to be an inspired hire and the five-star tight ends up committing to the Bulldogs' new head coach. There's a lot bonding Nauta to the Peach State, and breaking those family ties won't be easy.

Obviously rooting for M to win him over during the coaching carousel.
