Rich Rod Spotted in Oklahoma Polo

Submitted by Soulfire21 on

So, Detroit News (not THAT Detroit news) is reporting that Rich Rod was spotted in an Oklahoma polo.

Apparently he's been visiting spring workouts in Norman, OK.

Do anything for anyone?  Not sure if it does for me, but I thought it was a curious bit.

A search and quick scan of the first 2 pages turned up no results on this, so I cautiously posted.

He'll probably get a HC job eventually, but he's going to have to figure out how to manage the defensive side of the ball if he wants to succeed.  He has to either give up his fixation with the 3-3-5 or find a DC who is a guru at running that defense.  Hiring a 4-3/3-4 guy who is "open" to the 3-3-5 is not the answer.

Rich Rodriguez looks good, and eager to coach up someone.

I'll always have a soft spot for RR. I hope he finally gets the chance to coach somewhere that has a loaded roster and have 100% support from everyone. I have no doubt he will succeed.

I didnt think this was worth its own thread, but since we are on the topic of RR, he is going to be in on HBO.

It is going to be focusing on Pay for Play on March 30th.

"Two long-form segments anchor the program, setting the stage for an extended roundtable panel hosted by Bryant Gumbel and featuring former University of Michigan head football coach Rich Rodriguez, outspoken college basketball commentator Billy Packer, print journalist Jason Whitlock of FoxSports.com and former Ivy League Athletics Commissioner Jeff Orleans. The group will address a host of issues relating to the NCAA and the regulation of its 1,055 member schools.                         """       "                         ""'''     :"

It seems like it may involve Auburn. It should be interesting nontheless.

EARLY EDIT: I know its a couple days old, but I didnt think it was worth its own thread. Also, I'm really drunk so I'm just going to say sorry to the Grammer nazis.
