He might be going to give Frost an offer "in person". I guess it's not a terrible idea to start recruiting every position that wasn't filled this year.......

Did anyone else notice that Risean Broussard from Louisiana recently showed up on the UMich scout board? Any chance Rich was trying to get another DT on board? I haven't heard him mentioned anywhere else as a possibility but it looks like he is opened his recruiting back up.

I saw Keenan Allen play against my old high school back in September. I've never seen an individual high school player dominate a game like that. In the fourth quarter his coach gave up running their offense, lined Allen up at quarterback and told him to go. They scored on three straight possessions, and Allen came up with interceptions on both of my school's possessions.

Yeah, at whichever bowl he played in (I think it was the Army bowl, but it could have been Under Armour), a bunch of players were asked who's going to be the #1 NFL pick in a few years, and several of them mentioned Keenan Allen. By all accounts, he was destroying all comers in practices that week. He's going to be a pain in the ass for Alabama's opponents for the next 3 or 4 years.

I think Robert Crisp was the one who was most interested in Michigan, but that faded quickly. None of them were ever too serious about coming to Ann Arbor, but they were all offered.

I doubt Rodriguez is visiting them. I think it's more likely that he's visiting Christian LeMay and/or Kris Frost from Butler High School (Jamar Adams' alma mater), both Class of 2011 guys. I just figured I'd toss those other names out there, just in case.

We have gotten to the stage where we can track RR? Really? Its like the CIA in the Bourne movies. Is there a control center where we can track his every move while he does spy shit to escape us?

Sorry, if I offend, but this just goes too far for me.

Privacy. I think people, even football coaches, should be able to travel without people knowing their every move. Recruiting trip or not. (Knowing about it after the fact fact provides sufficient oversight for the use of public money.)

There is also a football reason. Say he was about to snake oil a 5 star stud from another team. They, like you, track him and get wind of it and inject the kid with anti-snake oil juice. Oh hell, that's silly. I'll just go with my first reason.

Any of these aircraft can be blocked on flight tracker. If RR was concerned about privacy you wouldn't be able to track the aircraft. I've piloted business jets before that were blocked on flight tracker because the owner didn't want the public to know where he had been.

Christian Lemay is down here as well (Top QB prospect for 2011) along with a number of his teammates, at least 5 of whom are division 1 prospects.

Doesn't he own some vacation property in the Carolinas? Maybe he wants to get out of the cold for a bit while he does some in homes down south.

Now why on earth would the UofM charter a plane from a company in Columbus Ohio? CHASE EQUIPMENT FINANCE INC / COLUMBUS OH

Isn't that the football equivalent of paying the Taliban off to safely truck supplies to our troops in Afgahnistan?

UNC commitments and NCSU commitments have been in Keenan Allen's ear for weeks and he isn't wavering.

Crisp is a package deal with his adopted brother. His brother isn't even NAIA-level talent.

Fre'Shard Hunter isn't going to qualify. Crisp and Alfy Hill have never wavered since committing, BTW.

The 2011 NC class is supposed to be exceptional. Butler High School (where Lemay and Frost play) has a number of D1 players. Unusual to be chasing those guys while this class is still going.

If you were flying charter and were going after anyone but Allen, you'd fly into Raleigh. Why is he flying charter anyway? There are 10 direct flights from Detroit to Charlotte everyday.

edit - answered my own question. Ann Arbor>New Orleans>Baton Rouge>Jax>Charlotte>Spartanburg.

He's chasing SEVERAL people.
