Looks like you must've pulled mine too cause i clearly remember writing the following:

"Stauskas is a fantastic get for Michigan and despite his "under the radar" status on the recruiting boards he's a gamer.  He'll fit tremendously in Coach B's offense as he's vitually automatic from the arc and doesnt mind taking the ball to the hole if given an opening.  An average defender he'll get a few rebounds but that's not what what'll keep him getting significant minutes this season.  The kid is a scoring machine and if you dont know who he is now you soon will."

Or something like that.

I don't look too bad in that post, my more off the mark comments came later. I always thought Stauskas would be good, but I though he would need a couple of years of college S&C to get there.

Stauskas was also recruited by Kansas so he always has had the potential. Lot of season to go but the team definitely has the potential to do special things this year. Luckily we've got a coach that has shown an ability to get the most out if his players for the most part. Just keep working to get better everyday and good things will happen.

We need a good nickname for Nik, and his last name offers much fodder.  I still stand by StauskICE as it flows nicely with his normal name enunciation save change the sound of one vowel.  And the kid really is ICE.  He will play on Sundays without question and I bet he goes down as one of UM's greatest players ever.  Bold, but his game just gives that vibe.

I wasn't too far off base with my post in that thread and I was actually pretty excited for his commitment. With that said, I did not think that he would look this good this early in his college career.
