Lets all take a moment to be thankful that when we meet Indiana in the semis it will actually be a neutral court game instead of a de facto home one in Indy. At least the B1G did something right by moving the BTT to Chicago this year.

Don't even bother caring.  This team will tank it against PSU and then will be 1 and done in the tournament.

You're saying that two free throws would change your perspective that much?

If Burke/Morgan hits a routine free throw, you'd be jumping for joy and singing of how despite getting outrebounded, we fought hard against one of, if not, the best teams in the country and came out on top.

39 minutes of the game we just watched = what I've seen from this team that makes me think they'll prove you wrong.

Not excited. I think we make a decent run, maybe two wins, but just put more miles on the tires. As I told a friend this morning, the B1G tournament just seems anti-climatic and counter- productive.

Wow, I get the loss is still fresh, but surprised by all the negativity. Yes we have to hit those easy ones, Yes we have to hit free throws.  It wasn't all bad though.

The defensive intensity/effort they had today actually makes me feel better about our tourney (the conference and the real one) chances.

As far as the bracket, we get a chance to avenge the 3 most painful losses (in my opinion) of the year, so Let's Go Blue!!!

If the negativity consisted of:  "DAMN FREE THROWS! AH BAD FREE THROW SHOOTING! RAWR WHY CAN'T WE MAKE FREE THROWS! ARGH!", I wouldn't be surprised.

However, for some reason the negativity I'm hearing is: "DAMN FREE THROWS!  WE ARE THE WORST TEAM IN THE B1G!  WE CAN NEVER CLOSE ANY GAMES!  HARDAWAY IS THE WORST!  CUT MORGAN!  CUT MCGARY!  WE'RE NOT MAKING THE TOURNAMENT ANYMORE!  FIRE EVERYONE!  SCRAP THE PROGRAM!"

It's safe to say the negativity has been a far-reaching overreaction.

Of course it's an overreaction. Fans are emotional and say stupid things after a gut-wrenching loss, especially with a title on the line.  This has been going on for decades at every major sports program in America.  The only thing that makes it worse is people trying to control it.  Just let it ride for 30 minutes, and rationality will return.

We are now 100% guaranteed to not win the 2012-13 Big Ten title. Which is the whole point of the regular season. There is no tomorrow for that. And we're 12-13 days away from starting any redemption in the NCAAs. So what kind of reaction are people expecting?

about the defense.  But, what scares me is the lack of boxing out and rebouding deficiency.  I love this team and we have the talent to go up against anyone on the country.  The only thing in our way is playing defense and boxing out.  If we can do those two things, this team can be special!

This will be fun. Burke has a chance to seal the Wooden award if Michigan has a great tournament run! Beat Penn St, Wisconson and quite possibly MSU in the final, umm yes please!
