UMgoblog Is reporting on Twitter that sources say Shaw is eligible.
Tennessee is not recruiting well just because they got 18 dudes
Slightly digressing... I love the retro profile: Shawn Crable
His head looks really small poking out from the giant shoulder pads/neck pads he's wearing.
slightly digressing? Slightly?
Hope it is true about Shaw...significantly increases our depth in the backfield.
This and the Hart news feel like frozen packs of peas for my aching dong...still hurts, but the pain is slowly subsiding
on the Hart front. Last I heard:
TVH: Hart visit very unlikely.
Some other bro: Good news, it's all cool!
TVH: WTF? No it isn't.
TomVH had an update this morning, and the visit is 99.9% going to happen.
Thanks. That is good news.
does that site have more twitter followers than mgoblog?
oh i see what they did there...
It may also have something to do with umgoblog following 26,146 more people than mgoblog.
into as many threads as possible...
Nevermind. I'm still learning the internets. Punish accordingly.
YAY..let the Carlos Brown comparisons continue.
to get some good news this month.
Other good news: tomorrow is SEPTEMBER!
At first I srs'd
Then I LoL'd of joys!
This has to be one of the funnier things I've seen in quite some time.
Craig Roh is a handsome man.
It's definitely the eyebrows.
This is indeed excellent news
O LET DO IT!
Can we please, please, please stop saying "O LET DO IT!"?
That is the last thing I would expect to hear from R Kelly.
That's the last thing I'd expect to hear from R Kelly.
No. Let do it.
underclassmen? Premature, man. Remember - pre-apocalypse UM football (previously known as "days of awesomeness") - U of M never trotted many frosh/sophs out onto the field.
Know what I say re: Shaw? Let do it.
because we are bringing it all.
UConn bet they never knew what hit them...
lets hope they don't bring their women's basketball team with them...
I've always been fond of Shaw for no reason in particular. Hopefully he has a breakout season.
Maybe because he spurned Penn State? :D
Having 3 starting backs for the first game is great news, it will be great to see the versatility of Shaw, Smith & Cox (as well as Hopkins & Fitz)
Ive never been particularly impressed by him. V Smith showed me a lot more in less time. Hopefully Shaw finally puts it together but I'm not expecting much.
and it appears that you are.
What is this thing you call good news?
Honestly I was half-expecting that Shaw wasn't eligible and that the NCAA was looking into the possibility that Denard, Mike Martin, and Charles Woodson all illegally tutored him in his "Applied Football 101" course.
Well, wouldn't that just be the bees knees.
We'll take it!
Depth, bitches, depth.
If only he was a CB.
that's good news if true
What noteworthy feat has Shaw previously achieved in a Michigan uniform?
Consistantly leading the Big Ten in rushing yards..duh.
It's not a joke. He has done one thing of note in his first two seasons.
IIRC, he scored the 1st TD of the RRod era.
Is there actually a "source" here? Remember when Forcier transferred?
Finally some good news.
Great news. Hopefully this is the start of some good luck.
Im really hoping this means Hopkins will see the field with some good PT. Kid is gonna be a beast. Anyone think of him in the "Owen Schmidt" role?? How are his hands?
ELIGIBLE. Not ineligible. ELIGIBLE.
What a country
This is big news for Michigan if it is really true.. Shaw and Smith give an outstanding 1-2 punch at the RB position. Put those two in there with Shoelace and UCONN won't be able to contain them with 2 DEs out..
I'm feeling a big statement game from the Big Blue! HAIL!
I love the spirit of thefaz's post, so let me second it and save any sarcasm.
HOWEVA, please can we stop with the "Big Blue"?
Big Blue is:
OK, so that last one wasn't so bad...
Sorry if this is a little over-the-top but Big Blue is generic and is not and should not be the Univeristy of Michigan.
We have plenty of real names and traditions that we have every right to be proud of, so let's stick to them!
