he wrote one of those "oh i see what you did there" posts basically blasting all those who criticized him for a poorly linked or merited post on 'rumors' weiss is out by trying to outline just how "right" he was.

unfortunately this post is even more fail than the previous.

until a major news source, and not a bleacher report piece attempting to hit the ground running as soon as the clock hit zero in the navy piece, cites individuals within the department, this is just rival fodder. OP seems to not understand that expecation on this board.

when the only sources coming forward with this are "gambling sites" and f'ing Bleacher Report, where people like Belch can write anything they want and have morons link to it as factual reporting, the answer is most likely "yes."

unless your sister's cousin who once smelled the same dead skunk as nick sheridan off of I-75 is someone you like to cite for news.

with Wordpad, Notepad and MS Word and I could not get paragraphs...so I put in those asterisks finally ...hopefully, it's clear now.

I don't know why I'm having so many formatting problems on this site..I...any serious suggestions would be appreciated

Magnus is so right - if you're going to be repentant about anything, it should be for inflicting a never-ending run-on paragraph on all of us. Maybe you meant to say "repetitive" rather than "repentant".

Now that you, uh... "fixed" the line breaks, I think the point is that your sources are all speculative as well. I promise you that DocSaturday doesn't have any inside access to ND that told him the Irish were going to fire him. I trust talking heads on FSN about as much as I do ESPN. They're called talking heads for a reason.

We don't really know if Charlie is gone. Everything else is just rumor and conjecture.

That may be the best youtube video ever. I couldn't stop laughing.

Thanks to that, I now believe the Price is Right losing horn should be played in the stadium when the opposing team takes a penalty or something.

Hey, where's the guy from the MMB who was asking, during the off-season, about things people might be interested in hearing??

I would like to suggest that this is it!

+1, Just to foil what I could swear looks like a purposeful attempt to get yourself negbanged into oblivion. (Come on, you seem like you're at least intelligent enough to know that's what would happen regardless of formatting issues.)

-1, Because all this hoopla is over Charlie Weiss.

In fact, I have respect for the opinions on this board, otherwise I would not post here. But I did feel the need to respond. And yes, I admit, I was kind of pissed.

Out of respect, I will not make these kinds of posts anymore.
Yet, if you will forgive me, I don’t really see this board as being any closer to the gospel than most of what I read in many other internet publication.

In fact,, those that I cited here make some effort to make an argument about the plausibility of the rumors…I did expect to have them read them in a fair-minded way....and if there were disagreements, I expected a reasoned argument...

I realize what many are saying is that you have a rule about unverified rumors.

Yet, IMO, just reporting some “golden rule” is not very helpful if it’s seldom followed….In fact, if it’s repeated often enough, when it is not followed, it begins to seem, well, empty…

If the board is supposed to be restricted entirely to verifiable facts, then someone has an awful lot of editing to do.

That’s just my opinion, of course. I will be very disappointed if doing so gets me negbanged into oblivion. But if I didn't express my opinion, I would be far more disappointed in myself.
