December 4th, 2015 at 12:13 PM ^
As of 12:12 pm, he's 214 votes behind. MGoBlog users really can "make a difference."
December 4th, 2015 at 12:29 PM ^
up by about 500 now! Keep it going!
December 4th, 2015 at 11:37 AM ^
Now 400! And dont forget, you can vote as many times as you want
December 4th, 2015 at 11:36 AM ^
It's close right now. We can't let the Ole Miss fans win this vote.
December 4th, 2015 at 11:36 AM ^
He only has 24k votes and i'm sure many are repeats because i've voted 10+ times myself. Our fan base is usually much better at dominating polls than this. Wonder what gives...
December 4th, 2015 at 11:48 AM ^
My guess is people don't care because the fan vote only counts for 1 of the 17 votes.
December 4th, 2015 at 12:11 PM ^
I would imagine that we're more up against SEC voters on this one. There's no way in hell Ole Miss has that many people who give a crap. So it might be SEC fans vs. Michigan fans, which would make way more sense than freakin Ole Miss staying even with us.

We're closing in again...keep voting.
December 4th, 2015 at 11:42 AM ^
200 down. Only 25k votes for our guy, that isn't typical of our fan base.
December 4th, 2015 at 11:44 AM ^
and is riddled with spelling errors - you should feel bad.
Regardless, I am voting for Jabrill
December 4th, 2015 at 11:47 AM ^
Couldn't spell Jabrill, but somehow got Nkemdiche correct.
December 4th, 2015 at 12:38 PM ^
and then misspelled Jabrill YET AGAIN in the edit, but is apparently doing real work while at work so we should all forgive his faux pas
December 4th, 2015 at 11:45 AM ^
Closing in. 263 last I checked.
December 4th, 2015 at 11:47 AM ^
We really need to do this on the 7th and 8th right before the polls close. No way our fan base could lose a poll vote. Keep voting to keep it close now and then finish them off the day before and day oF.. We got this. Go Blue.
December 4th, 2015 at 11:48 AM ^
ROBERT NKEMDICHE - Ole Miss 48.4% (25,007 votes)
JABRILL PEPPERS - Michigan 48.1% (24,851 votes)
December 4th, 2015 at 11:48 AM ^

December 4th, 2015 at 11:50 AM ^

Yeah, I just voted about 30-40 times and then it said "You have voted too many times and you can vote again after a cool down period"
Either way I feel I did my part. Let's go Michigan fans.
December 4th, 2015 at 11:55 AM ^
Entered a "cooling off period."

December 4th, 2015 at 11:59 AM ^
We're within 5 when I just voted. The way it's moving right now Jabrill should take the #1 spot very soon.
December 4th, 2015 at 12:03 PM ^
And by very soon I mean 2 minutes later. Now up by 66 and counting.
December 4th, 2015 at 12:00 PM ^

December 4th, 2015 at 12:09 PM ^

Of all the guys on the list, Nkemdiche seems the most odd. He has touched the ball 5 times total on offense. No doubt he's a good defensive player, but every other player up for the award has done significantly more than touch the ball on offense less than 0.5 times per game.
McCafferty returns kicks/punts but doesn't play on defense. Jackson is the closest to Peppers versatility.
Nkemdiche offensive touches are more novelty than anything else.

Hail, Peppers in the lead keep voting!

Jabrill. Up less than 800.
Come on gang let's do it !
December 4th, 2015 at 1:46 PM ^
I believe they have caught on to this. I voted on my computer first, and then voted on my phone. Between that time, Jabrill gained 9 votes compared to 13 for Nkemdiche. I have a feeling that this is not over.
