Looks like lesser opponents have a $45-$75 price range, while Michigan rates a $145-$300 range. I guess we should feel flattered?

but Rutgers may be aware that its one of Rutgers' biggest home games and there are thousands of NJ-NYC Michigan fans/alums that will buy up tickets as well.
Honestly, I would not be surprised if Michigan fans alone could sell out that game. There's enough fans and alums between DC and Boston that I think we could sell it out ourselves

I actually decided to buy Rutgers season tix because they're not much more than just buying the tickets to the Michigan game. 4 seats on the 15 yard line, row 13. I also am going to sell the other tix and try to make a bit back. Funny thing is I had to pay a 50 bux per seat PSD to Rutgers (and I have no affiliation)... I felt so trolled...

Also, if you guys are coming in from out of town, I highly recommend that you guys don't eat the typical college grub, but rather, that you try the Indian food in Iselin (probably the best Indian food on the east coast and only about 15 min drive from Rutgers) or the Korean BBQ AYCE place in Edison (i.e., All You Can Eat Korean style ribs, bacon, chicken and steak).

They must be trying to capitalize off of our NYC fans. $210 for upper level seats seems a little steep. I bet they will sell out, but better deals will be had on Stubhub prior to kickoff.

This is a strategy employed by many schools. Northwestern did this same thing just last year. Michigan and osu are their "purple pricing" games which command a significant premium over the other games. msu and others are in their regular tier, and they have a low tier for crappy out of conference early season games.

they both know that Michigan fans will turn out in droves on the east coast. Might as well take more of our money. For all the complaining we're doing, we all know Michigan fans are still going to scoop up every last ticket available for this game.

I checked StubHub over the weekend and some seats were available for just under $100. Not anymore, prices jumped after Rutgers started selling them today. I do think these prices will hold as NYC area alumni will buy everything up. CT last year was farther away, though a smaller stadium, and it was almost like being at a home game.
