Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

In case anyone is interested or lives near the border, the first Ohio-Michigan Michigan-Ohio Border Classic is this Saturday at the University of Findlay.

This game has replaced the East-West game the state of Michigan has held each year, and will be played at 1pm.

Three Wolverines will be in this game--Lawrence Marshall & Jared Wangler for Michigan and Noah Furbush for Team Ohio.

There are a few ohio signess such as Lattimore and Smith who will play in this game, as well.

Furbush......can you not?

Future Michigan LB Noah Furbush, a Kenton product, is member of Team Ohio in Border Classic. He did OH-IO cheer with teammates at practice.

Just a heads up, the article says this is updated but that's incorrect . Last I heard Lawrence Marshall is not playing in it. Travis Smith (Wake Forest ) is definitely not playing in it.

It seems like alot of big names are sitting this one out on both sides. Kyle Rowland also reported a few of the coaches had their players withdraw from the roster recently. Im sure the college coaches would prefer their players dont play a full contact game a week before reporting to school.

have had it at Toledo St. Johns High School.  We played a flag football "Super Bowl" there this weekend and the facilities were outstanding.  Probably 5,000 seats and FieldTurf on the playing surface made for a "college-like" experience in a local spot.

Gratuitous future Wolverine photo op (disregard the Raidah's jersey!):
