Brian will be on The Michigan Insider, with Sam, at the top of the hour - short notice.
gambling establishment etc
Who iHeartradio doesn't work for?
Everytime I try to listen to WTKA on IHR, it is just commercials for ever.
It is 8:06 central time and Brian hasn't been on for even a second yet - it has been straight commercials
Maybe when I get home. I can't listen to Brian while at work anymore. They turn his mic low so he's a whisper. If you turn the speaker up to hear then Sam's voice BOOMS. You have to keep one hand on the volume dial to hear it properly without causing a disturbance. Their engineer sucks.
Headphones are nice.
I have a 25 minute drive to work in the morning. This morning I heard a 10 minute interview with the lady from the Humane Society of Huron Valley and 15 minutes of commercials...
I commute about 1 hr to work and of course home. I just download the entire day on my lunch, then pick and choose segments worth listening too. for commute home and drive in.
The Huge show and pick up all those great insights?
The Huge may be a clown and hothead but he probably is the best interview for local radio in the state of Michigan, and I always make sure to tune in if a Michigan player or coach is being interviewed by him.
"When you look at Joe Kerridge, you hope you don't smell like salmon"
-Our Fearless Leader
Brian cook on Joe Kerridge OMG shirtless:
"I hope I don't smell like salmon (because Kerridge looks like a bear and bears eat salmon)."
Sam says that Borges said, "Bryant was going to be the starter at guard last year (before his injury)".
Wow. I tried listening on a trip into town this morning. I got about a minute of Sam telling us what he was going to tell us, 10 minutes of commercials, about another minute of Sam telling us what he was still going to tell us, then about 10 more minutes of commercials.
WTKA has got to be an example of some sort of failure of market processes. Talk about taking advantage of a lack of competitiion.
Are you including the pseudo-commercials which have Sam talking about his car/fantasy team/health club/cell phone?
Love Sam, but those bits drive me nuts. (I suspect they may drive him nuts too).
Write these kind of things up like the coaches interviews. I can't listen to this stuff at work.
Heiko should finish medical school and become a doctor, and you should learn how to listen to podcasts while you're driving to and from work.
Brian needs his own radio show.
He used to have one.
anyone have a recap?
Joey Kerridge catches raw fish with his teeth and Courtney Avery will start at free safety.
... I just now bookmarked that podcast page.
