This guy is the "Director of Recruiting" for ElevenWarriors. I'm not sure if that means that he recruits writers for their blog or knows something about football. Anyway, he tweeted this after the Damien Harris commit. Any info out there on who he might be referring to?
Apologies for not being able to embed (he speculates another 2015 recruit from Ohio about to drop for Michigan).
Remember in 2011 when everyone was freaking out about how long it was taking for us to pick up a commit? It is but a distant, fading memory now.
Haha back when the Brady Hoke can't recruit meme actually had some merit. Hard to believe that two years ago we were wondering if it was possible for our defense would be able to be ranked 60th nationally, or if we would be able to win more than seven games that year, or if we were going to be able to win a game if it depended on a field goal kick. Gotta love hindsight. You also gotta love this coaching staff.
Are your sources also telling you that Lattimore plans on spending an extra year in high school? Because the Ohio prospect he's talking about is from the class of 2015.
If that's what it takes to get Lattimore, I'm OK with that.
we'll have taken our second recruit from Ohio and Urbz hasn't even landed a '15 recruit yet.
"That's what she said."
Should we really be taking a 5 foot 8 corner? I thought the coaches were trying to get bigger corners. I am all for athletic guys but they have to be able to tackle and play run support. Still having nightmares of Terry Richardson getting trucked mutiple times in the spring game.
Eh. I don't like ruling out players simply because of size. Top NFL CB's like Flowers, Winfield, and Jennings are all around Crawford's height and don't seem to have any problems dominating.
Talent is talent.
You are now projecting every team to have Michigan size WRs - remember we are now the anomaly. Plenty of teams out there with 5'11, 6' receivers... in fact that would currently be most of UM type of impact receivers. And as the guy above says, there are some very bad men playing in the NFL at all sizes. Real recognizes real.
Wow--These Ohio recruiting analysts are the worst.
