The Rehab of Ben Cronin
It's a shame his body is taking longer to recover from the surgery. My fear is he will need to go back under the knife to clean up after the first surgery.

There is a chance that Cronin will become another in a long line of big men who never fulfilled their potential as players due to injuries. I really wish JB would just shelve him and get him healthy for next year. I don't see him turning into someone who makes it off the bench often this year anyway.
As much as I wish him well on the court, I have a feeling that Cronin is going to be one of those who accomplishes a lot more off the court with his degree than he will on the court.

It seems like it would absolutely be worth it to give him this year off. He clearly is struggling with basic basketball skills i.e. jumping and running. His size is so valuable, hence the importance of not wasting with a re-aggravated injury. Does anybody know about the possibility of getting him a second year of red-shirt? for medical purposes? I think I saw something about this from Brian recently.

I would say shelve him for the year but if he could get some experience this year that would be a bigger plus going into the next season.

So do you want to sit him or play him?
