Aside from the convincing win, this is just a fun team to watch -- they can score and they aren't afraid to go on the fast break.  I'm really looking forward to tourney season!

1. Payne hasn't been back long enough to resume his role as Shaq but more talented.

2. Appling still has an injured wrist that he suffered back in 1998 that prevents him from being Iverson but greater.

3. Dawson is still out and he's like Barkley but more Round Mound of Rebound-ier.

Will we get sanctions and reduced schollies for being mean and beating such an injury riddled, under manned Sparty team? I mean, that's just not good sportsmanship on our part. We only have one nba draft pick thats hurt and out of the lineup, unlike the 5 or 6 that sparty has missing.

I know this isn't Sparty-related, but I hope we close the regular season out by running that douchebag Tom Crean off our court, and officially crush any chance his team has of making it back to the tournament.

Hopefully we'll have the Big Ten title wrapped up by that point as well. Its ours to lose right now.

Izzo was heard to say, "Besides all the injuries, the fact that Matteen and Magic are out of eligibility, really hurt us today... not to use that as an excuse though".

I'm sure this has been mentioned 50 times by now but I think the most pleasure I get from the win today is that Keith Appling and Adrian Payne finished their career at MSU going 0-4 in Ann Arbor. John Beilein is the man!

Lovin' every minute of it. I was at a bar with 70% routing for MSU. When stauskas buried the three for the lead with 10 min left the place went silent!!!

Go blue baby!!!

I wonder if we could play them in the conference tourney.  Has Michigan ever?  Every year you think it may happen and never does.  It probably wouldn't be until the championship if so, though.

watching the replay and it's kind of neat that Shaka Smart and Billy Donovan will be featured back to back next Saturday as "Men of March" in that promotional thing - that's like a 2013 tournament highlight package for us, seeing as we blew the doors off of both teams last tourney.

Another thought on watching a replay - exactly how much of Sparty's offense is predicated on the moving screen?

They "set" so many moving screens it's ridiculous. The makeup call after Morgan got hosed was for a moving screen, but they could have called at least ten of them in this game. It's totally clear that Izzo coaches his kids to run into the man they're screening.

So Sparty to actually coach an illegal tactic.

So happy!! Beilein drank Izzo's milkshake again. I had I work today. Anyone know if a replay of the game is available on the CBS Sports website? Go Blue!!!!
