Sorry if this was already posted but does anyone know who showed up for the Uconn game?
national champs baby
I'm hoping for a Hello: Avery Walls post too, but that may be asking for a little too much in just one day so I'll settle for Dee Hart.
i sure hope that no outside reciever recruits were at the game, because we were not throwing the ball down field a whole lot. although when we did it was pretty effective.
i take this back. stonum had 5 catches and odoms had 2. didnt seem like it, but the outside recievers were targeted more than i thought.
To support your original statement, they weren't targeted down the field a whole lot. I think (hope, maybe?) that RichRod was trying to ease in DRob with short stuff today but when you can run a QB draw on 3 and 15 and convert (!), not a whole lot of need to throw down field.
Me fail english thats unpossible!
Why would we throw outside with how effective our running game was?
Keep believing
i never said that i didnt like the way we ran our offense. i just was saying that that type of style won't be attractive to the big time outside recievers.
i guess well see what the trend is like over the course of the season. we might utilize the outside recievers more in games where the short stuff isnt as available.
but in general, i think the fact that the slot guys and the rb's are so frequently targeted in the passing game will make it tougher to pull the outside reciever recruits.
I don't know about outside guys, but it looked pretty good for RB's. After the first series, I was wondering if Dee Hart would commit on the spot. He had to see the great holes and mismatches that the spread created now that RR finally has appropriate personnel and be thinking, "I could win a Heisman at Michigan."
Dee Hart and his teamate Clinton Dix were there. He actually got a stading ovation when he was walking down the path of the victors march before it actually started.
I saw a guy on the sidelines that was wearing a TB hat, but I thought he looked too thin to be Dee.
Wasting away in Ohio, a Wolverine in a sea of red and grey
There was a brief image of someone wearing some absurd burgundy sweatshirt and hat. If this was HaHa in Alabama gear I'm somewhat disgusted. I thought only Mo Clarett pulled shit like that.
True--but that doesn't make it any less gross or tacky.
(I'm not entirely serious.)
All I know is I'm waiting for a Hello: Dee Hart post
also that HaHa decommitted
