I recall a similar issue while we were recruiting TP and the frats threw a block party for him. The athletic department came down hard on that idea. it is a secondary violation at worst and as OSU proves they mean pretty much nothing.

I am not being critical in any way but I was wondering how does TomVH have so much contact with recruits and their families? I assume he is not representing the U of M. Do the coaches have any concerns/issues with what he does?
I love his updates.

since he is a journalist and not a booster, student, or representative of UM it is okay.
