Recruiting Questions: Frost & Lyons
With the commitment of Desmond Morgan, and the prior commitment of Kellen Jones, we have two linebackers. Obviously, we still have Frost as a prospect. How many LBs could we take, and how interchangable or different are the needs at OLB & MLB?
Regarding Avery Walls going to Cal, the comment was made that we better hope to get Royster, as the only remaining safety prospect. Does this mean that we are no longer being considered by Lyons, who I thought was also a safety? Or are the roles filled by Royster & Lyons significantly different?

I have no idea what type of defense we'll be running in a couple years, but Wilkins is a strongside DE or a 4-tech in the 3-3-5. Basically our DT depth in 2012 is Martin, Washington, Ash, and probably Talbott (although he was only 248 lbs. at the beginning of the season).
Like I said, it kind of depends on what type of defense we run, though...

Chad Simmons had a few comments/tweets about Frosts performance at the Shrine Bowl:
-Kris Frost flew in off the edge and made contact with the RB 3 yds deep in the backfield.
-Kris Frost and Stephone Anthony are two of the top LBs in the south. http://plixi.com/p/62928751
-Kris Frost is telling his teammates to pick the intensity. What a leader.
Seems like a type of kid Michigan could use regardless of position. Though its nice to see him playing defense here.
