Did anyone see any recruits at the game Saturday?

Single game receiving record you'd think that the negative recruiting of RR and Michigan not having an air attack should be lessened or at least they'll have data points to argue their point.

Arnett seemed to be very pleased that Michigan was throwing the ball so effectively.

the title of the scout article is "They throw the ball," a quote from the interview. I don't think Mr. Webb would have used that if it wasn't relevant to Arnett.

DeAnthony also said the coaches came up to him after the game and asked him "who said we don't throw the ball?"

Just saying that I think the passing game blowing up is helping our chances.

Are you calling Arnett a thug?

that discussions of "culture" are risky territory on here.  The risk of insulting recruits or their families, even inadvertantly, is quite high.  You bet many of them read this blog, as its the best source of info on the program.  Even being vague about it can backfire, as people start to wonder what someone really means...

General question: How close to the field are the recruits during the game?  Do they stand on the sideline, or are they in the club seats?  Or, do they have first row seats in a certain section?

In one respect, it'd be cool for them to be close to the UM bench, so they can see the players, coaches, and experience the game like a player.  Then again, if they wanted to see the true beauty of the offense, it is best experienced from about 25 rows up in the stands (in my opinion).

I think they start off on the field during warm-ups, then move to seats. Someone from my high school was being recruited for a non-revenue sport and they hooked them up with tickets low in the bowl between the 35's. Also, I don't think the NCAA allows recruits to be in the club level or boxes. At least that's what I got out of the Iowa kerfuffle.

I had sideline passes for Iowa and what I saw was that the recruits were on the field until the coin toss and then they go into the stadium. They all sit in the first five rows directly behind the Michigan bench near many of the player families. The all have front row center seats. They go back down on the field after the game and are allowed back through the tunnel to the locker room.  There were a ton of guys for that game, some have already committed and others that haven't yet. There were also probably some younger guys there as well. They have to pay for their ticket, but Michigan gives them a seat with the other recruits.
