Nothing better coming from a school that is going to have its own issues in 2010. F - them, wonder why so many other schools are so concerned with RR and UM, oh yeah because we are on the right track and will be kicking all of their asses soon enough!

YEAH MAN, YOU TELL EM, BRO!

People are concerned with hating on Michigan because we're rarely ever down - and currently - we're in a pretty big hole.  In the words of Dave Chappelle:

Haters gonna hate

Lovers gonna love

I don't even want, none of the above

I want to **** on you

Yes I do

That's a mediocre effort on their part.  On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a 3.  To give a better sense of the scale, the "Ann Arbor is a whore" would get a 2.  (Aside: That's partly because it, like "scUM," is ancient and worn.)  The MGoShirts?  8s, at least, most of them...

I actually thought the IDEA would be funny if they had executed better. At first I was like wow that's stupid, the front is too wordy.

Then I got to the back and saw the song, and actually started cracking up. Partly because I imagined the office scene where they sing that song, but partly because it's actually kind of funny. Sorry guys.

But really, we are saying teams shouldn't talk smack before the season when they have some questions on their coming year, but the last 2 years we haven't suspended our funny (and more creative) attempts to bring other teams down. I know it's a different situation, and we have tradition and history on our side, but we can still let them talk.

The Haters gonna hate. The Victors gonna... vict?

I would never buy one.  The more I see them, the more I dislike them.

And it does not matter who is wearing them.  I would hope that most Michigan fans would be above the taunting and pettiness.  But to each their own.

That said, I would give this a 6 on a 10 scale - like the "final tour" theme - too bad (for them) it won't work out that way.

But hey, Penn State - nice try...

Do we even have a anti-PSU shirt?  Enough said.  I have a PSU friend who says he went to the MICH/PSU game at Beaver which UM won and there were chants of Who's your daddy, because we won so many in a row.

What surprises me is that they say anything about RR.  If I was a sparty, PSU, or OSU fan I would love RR right now and hoping nothing changed.  I remember after we crushed state 49-3 in Bobby's last game I was a little dissappointed because I figured that would be the end of him.  I wanted him to stay forever.

Here's to making all the opposing fans hate him because he runs up the score on them in the next two years!!

PSU's coaching staff has been doing "Weekend at Bernie's" for about 6 years now.

At least Florida State had the balls to end their horrid movie and make necessary changes; Penn State is working on "Weekend at Bernie's VII."  Time to move on  (and for evidence, just look at your (lack of) 2011 recruiting class).

make a comment about how this might be going too far, and how I respect JoePa (though I hate him) and hope he lives another 150 years (he's 150 right? at least). Then I saw this and laughed a bit too hard.

I wouldn't be against these jokes because I'm a wuss, and I fully understand it's a joke, but just because I have respect for the guy and if he died, I know I would be really sad and participate in a conference-wide mourning period.

however, I hope he retires or at least has some indication that he's too old, because he's not gettin it. Though Charlie Weis is coaching despite his warnings (riding an Amigo around practice, rofl)

I will not, however, participate in a mourning period when PSU's season dies. Which is more imminent than JoePa's doom. Go Blue!

Thanks, my PSU friend actually loves UM.  I will have to ask him again, he said that when the chant broke out, there was silence in Beaver and it was echoing.

We knocked out 2 or 3 QB's in that game and at the end I remember the chants of we own Penn St coming from our section. I was in the old timer PSU section in my Grandfather's seat.

I remember someone losing (I think Florida) and we jumped to number #2 with that win as well.  Great night and I think the best quote of the night was from an older guy as he was walking down the isle he saw me smiling and said to his wife.... "they can't even bring their own band"

I laughed at that one.

There were a couple times where the MMB wanted to go to Happy Valley and Penn State said, "no."  I can't remember if the 2006 game was one of them...maybe not because I doubt they could have afforded the trip with road trips to South Bend and Columbus already that year.

But the 1997 contest (Judgment Day) which was even bigger, was one of them.  The school definitely wanted to send the band.  Penn State responded that there wasn't enough room for them.  Coincidentally, that was the year Beano Cook said we wouldn't have a chance against PSU and he said that we should leave the football team at home and send the band.  Have them play the Victors for 3 hours so both sides can leave happy.

Final:  Michigan-34 Penn State-8

Our Big Ten schedule has changed recently in regards to Penn State.  We used to play them on the road during odd numbered years (when we had ND and OSU at home), but now we play them on the road the same years we play OSU and ND on the road.  And since South Bend and Columbus have always been automatic road trips for the band, I'm sure there's no money to send them on a third road trip to Happy Valley so there's no point of asking.

The band went to Happy Valley in 1999 for the big Tom Brady led comeback.  They were scheduled to go in 2001.  But for the 01 game, there looked to be just a pep band in the end zone.  They were still wearing their uniforms and you could hear them loud and clear on TV even though there couldn't have been more than 25 band members.

My grandfather took me I was a freshman in High School at the time. We sat next to my high school principle and some of my grandfathers friends.

1st Michigan game ever. Best tailgate ever as well,  There was an RV  the guys wife's cooking for the old guys and we crushed PSU.

I still have a button from that game. It was a PSU one but it said... "Driving Mich Crazy "

Dumbest button ever .

And we proceeded to clown them in happy valley at night.  Sometimes, when I am sad, I go to BSD and read the game threads from last year.  They started the postgame thread halfway through the 4th.

because of the desperation of the PSU fandom to synthetically create a rivalry.  Since entering the B10, they gave up all of their traditional rivalries (WVU, Pitt, & Syracuse) and the only other one that they've been able to invent is one with Sparty which gets a yawn at best from the faithful.

They desperately want a rivalry with UM or tOSU because they are the marquee programs of the B10.  We all know how well that went with UM until these last two years.  Branch standing over Morelli pretty much sums up the rivalry and this year things will be put right once again!

Haters hate, then let em' hate and watch the wins pile up!! Penn State is just upset because they will always be behind Michigan and OSU no matter the circumstance.  Can't wait to play them this year.
