Realistic finish to this recruiting class?
Okay now that it has happened and with only a handful of weeks remaining in this recruiting year, what is a realistic finish to this year's recruiting class? I'm not as well informed with recruiting as most people on here but I do know that we have 6 commits as of now and I've read on here that 11 is probably the total number for this class barring attrition. So I suppose my question is, at this stage in the year who could the final 5 commits potentially be?
We know HARBAUGH is a game changer and with recruits and commits already tweeting about the move it is setting up to be a very exciting 2 months to close out the 2015 class. If Durkin does come with HARBAUGH then that opens up the pipelines in both Florida and California. Could we snag Iman Marshall? Flip Mike Weber and/or Damien Harris back?

I'm hopeful JH can reel in a couple of suprises for us.
I would love to see another QB to go with Malzone. We need all of the bodies we can get at QB until someone steps up. QB is the biggest need by far that this team has.

I think next year is where recruiting really takes off, especially if Harbaugh starts making a big turnaround quickly. Durkin could open up Florida pipelines, and Jimbo could make a big splash with the West Coast.
A big difference between how recruiting was under Hoke and how it could be under Harbaugh is that Hoke sold Michigan's tradition, being the nice guy, and being part of a family. Harbaugh can sell actual results, NFL success, and having coached guys like Andrew Luck and Colin Kaepernick.

We're stocked at every position except QB, WR, and WDE.

I'd like for Jim to find a can't miss linebacker prospect with the uncertainties other than Gedeon after next season. Definitely need some depth at DE. It's scary thin.

I hear we have a good chance of getting Ty Isaac for next year.

Ty Isaac is a very similar runner to Toby Gerhart. Jim seemed to use Toby properly...

I think Harris is gone, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Marshall commit or Weber flip back. Either way, I'm confident that Harbaugh will get the guys this team needs. The recruits seem excited.

Same can be said about Harris if he commits to the Bucks.

nobody bleeds blue and then red...I can do without Weber. I'd take him if he wanted to come back, but if I'm JH, I don't bother to call.

Hoping JH and staff gets the potential out of Brady's highly ranked recruits or they coach up some really hungry kids who want to play for Michigan. QB would be a great position to start with...

Harbaugh is a household name and will be all over the airwaves for a while. That publicity and potential for a harbaugh coached school, despite not being in a bowl at all, can only mean positive things.
We have a future and reason to believe again. Er, I mean Bahlieve

There has been a lot of chatter on twitter from recruits who are watching this really closely.. We could get lucky and swing a few surprises... We'll find out soon enough, but I would be cautiously optimistic
We just got the "coach of the century" as far as this fan base is concerned. One step at a time.

***At the moment, This is our only 2nd hand quote from Harbaugh that we can share***
I am not certain of when the Final Decision was made, but Jim Harbaugh started personally telling certain people on Christmas Day. As told to us by our source, 1-2 hours after he directly talked with Jim Harbaugh.
From Harbaugh's mouth in regards to how he will approach recruiting (and likely everything else)!!
Jim Harbaugh plans on spending New Year's Day WORKING. One task on his Agenda is To Personally CALL all of OSU's and MSU's verbal comits while both teams ARE playing their games!

We have read some comments that seem to question Harbaugh's recruiting prowess and pondering how he thinks/feels about recruiting in general...
General Insider Opinion (former Football Players): Jim was BORN not just into coaching, but college coaching. Jim and his brother used to frequently go on recruiting trips with their dad. He's been around recruiting his entire life. Don't doubt for one second Harbaugh doesn't understand the inherent importance and influence of recruiting. He is getting paid A LOT of $$$ to WIN, and as most of us know, Harbaugh hates losing more than 99% of us, and that includes a winning or losing recruiting battles.
He will get the names, no doubt, but also have faith in his ability--like Beilein--to FIND & DEVELOP relatively unknown talent. Expect him to be a 'winner' every year in recruiting and a superior recruiter to Hoke and all previous Head Coaches (thanks in large part to his current fame and coaching reputation).
