Real Conspiracy (Not a Theory!!!!)
So, the question has been raised recently of how King of Belch keeps getting into the positive points, when all his posts are continually neg-banged. I, through some slothful sleuthing, have deduced the situation in its entirety:
King of Belch is actually *SHOCK AND DISMAY* the alter ego of Brian Cook.
Let us examine the facts:
1) How could he keep getting positive mgopoints, when he's constantly being neg-banged? Simple: Brian has ultimate control over points, and could award himself hundreds just to keep his head above water.
2) Why would he do this? Possibly, because Brian gets annoyed at having to say everything politically correctly and in support of RichRod, and King of Belch is simply his personal venting tool.
Seems pretty plausible to me.

Why does everyone bag on KOB? I don't always agree with is points, but I find his posts to be predominantly entertaining.
Now if your theory is true, I will get huge points for this post from Brian. My guess is I won't because it is not Brian.
KOB posts pretty regularly and thus, the points.

I also always PosBang the Belch. And every time I get a little bored at work I go all StalkerPosBanging (The complete opposite of the stalker negbangers) on him because it irritates people so much. I don't know why it takes some people like 5 hours to stalker-bang someone in one direction or the other, tabbed browsing plus the Ctrl-F feature make it possible to give someone about 50 posbangs in a span of 5 minutes

Aren't positive votes worth 2 points even though they only show up as +1 on the post? Negs are worth -1 and show as -1. Someone can have a post show negative points but in reality their overall point total increases from it. 25 people neg and 15 people pos... they would gain 5 points from that even though their post shows -10.

K of B realized a long time ago that MGoPoints are worth as much as Schrute bucks (1/1000th of a cent). He cares not about earning them and thus piles them up like so many cords of wood, ready to burn when ever he decides to strike a match. Hope he never gets banned, every community needs a mad man to make others look that much more reasonable, yet there are times when his insanity is reasonable....go figure.

This reminds me of a letter my history prof once received and told us about--the letter stated that "in the history of mankind, it is common for people to change names, ages, and identities" and then goes on to posit that George Washington and King George III were actually the same person. The author noted that it would make "the Revolutionary war, like many other conflicts, a war of one man against himself." The writer wanted the prof's opinion as to whether it would be a good topic for a dissertation and the return address was from the prison in Jackson.

Things do not seem to line up. K of B can pick up more points over night than pretty much anyone on the board but the post never seem to have that much posbang. No, I do not have any data to sustain my notion, it's what I feel.

He is like brussle sprouts or calamari.....he's an aquired taste. I had a few run ins with him in the past, but everything considered, I enjoy most of his posts and would miss his humour if he were gone.
