For Reagan Williams being upfront with his decision & giving thanks to the UM Staff.  Honesty is the one thing during the recruitment process that has to exist between player & school staffs period.

I love the fact Reagan Williams made a decision. This frees him up, and frees the coaches from wasting time, etc. And Stanford is a great place to go. If I was choosing between Stanford and Michigan myself, I could easily have gone to Stanford.

I appreciate it when guys lay out the pros and the cons and figure out where they feel most comfortable and they make a decision, instead of stringing everyone along.

Are people still confident we will hit our 15-17 recruit target?  Looks like Neal is staying with Nebraska, so that would be another option off the board.

Thats what i've been wondering.......where do we pull 7 more guys from? Maybe some more real under the radar guys like markel bush or something. Or maybe smith, marshall, weber, clark, wheatley jr, williamson , and the slot from FL (cant remember his name) just drop in the next week and harbaugh pulls off the biggest last 3 week harbaugh of M recruiting history.

any problem filling all the available slots, it's just going to be a wild ride between now and signing day.

I still think there's going to be a surprise or two in the final couple of days---Coach Harbaugh and staff have cast a wide net since signing on, especially since the recruiting dead period ended.  I would imagine that, once the ink is dried on the LOI's, the entire staff will collapse from exhaustion---but only until the next day when Jimmy starts on the 2016 class with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind!

Crap on a crayfish! From both an academic and athletic perspective, Stanford is hard to turn down even with a Michigan offer on the table. Best of luck to him!

The ONE kid I was most excited about. Hard to say no to Cali weather, a Stanford education, and Cali girls...

In fact the girls here  complain of a lack of straight guys, so the situation is better than it seems. But there is a big difference between Nor Cal and So Cal girls. First a far more diverse  group up here. Less than 45% caucasian overall ( not a problem if you don't limit yourself. A beautiful girl is a beautiful girl. A red Ferrari is no different from a yellow one ), there kind of is a winter ( so not scantilly dressed all year ) , and women are more career oriented . Different but not inferior.

WIth an educational opportunity like that, it's impossible for me to say "he made the wrong decision," when a kid chooses Stanford over Michigan.

I think Shallman, Houma and Kerridge will step in just fine this year. Im ok with no FB in such a small class. Gonna be a crazy week of recruiting that Im looking forward to see who jumps on board.

Good luck to him. Would have been awesome to see him in a winged helmet but Stanford is one hell of a way to have some security in case he doesn't play in the NFL. Not saying UM isn't either, but hes definitely looking out for his future as well.
