I looked at the length of your post before noticing that you were a Spartan fan and thought to myself "Oh Lord, so much for us not caring", then I read your post. You are more than welcome to stay here. Most of us appreciate seeing things from a rival's point of view as long as it doesn't come in troll form.
RCMB Bashing Brian / Public Service Announcement
I find it funny that you took a picture that basically bashes UM, erased the tiny penis and used it as your avatar.
Brian and his mods do a good job of keeping the stupid to a minimum. If they all left for a month, MGB would start looking more like RCMB.
Don't forget about the troll-busters, the regulators. We do our part.
I feel honored. I think we should include MGoShoe as a quasi-mod also; he's never been an "official" mod but performs many of the same functions.
was when the brahs all got tear gassed and started running to save their miserable, AXE- and vomit-scented skins.
Cedarfest may be one of the dumbest events I have ever witnessed. In my 3 years at MSU, no fewer than 3 legitimate riots broke out in that dilapidated ghetto they had next to campus, with predictable consequences. Of course, whenever someone in authority pointed out that students really should be able to act slightly more mature than drug-addled monkeys on a bender, the student newspaper would rage against the police force and their "draconian" practices. I enjoyed my time at the school, but I am definitely not surprised to see them with a mediocre academic profile and a mouth-breathing alumni base (with exceptions, obviously).
FWIW, I disagree about the stats thing. I think that stuff is interesting in itself, but it also attracts certain types of people to site, which helps to prevent the MGoBoard from looking too much like RCMB.
Yeah, I'm not sure that this guy would be my first choice as a board representative.
In fairness, though, RCMB embodies everything that embarrasses me about sports fandom (and probably humanity).
Actually, while you're here, could you do me a favor and reconcile these two favorite MSU claims: (1) "Walmart Wolverines" aren't entitled to be passionate Michigan fans and (2) Michigan fans are much more arrogant/elitist than MSU fans.
What's more elitist than claiming that the only people entitled to follow a school's football team are those with the resources, abilities, flexibility, etc. to attend that school?
Yeah, sorry, this got confusing. I responded (twice) to a post from some MSU asshole, but his message has since been deleted. For some reason, my responses weren't deleted along with it.
I thought this was the most awesome triple post recovery ever.....
Who appointed them to offices? I demand answers!
Also I find it distressing that they don't talk about important topics, like the untrue rumors that Craig James killed 5 hookers.
but allegedly Craig James killed 5 hookers while at SMU.

Leave the nerd bashing to the professionals ... like Carson Butler.
What is this thread you speak of?
Why post a thread about these idiots? Why even care that they exist? I pay as much attention to their idiocy as I do to Delaware State football. Let's focus on something that's more important like MICHIGAN.
sometimes I read through some comments here and roll my eyes a little, but after this and the thread about jailbait at starbucks.....I am pretty thankful this board isn't full of scum
16 f starbucks. i love fraps!
Apparently we are "scUM"
I feel smarter now.
I'll remember that fo sho.
by Jonathan Franzen.
.....they must have been 40 rather useless years if this is him starting to sort out his life to date.
Well I just made my first visit there right now, and after scrolling through the posts I came across one where a man posted that he is married, that he and his wife will never 69 again, and the last time they did was 7 years ago. Lesson learned, never go there again.
There is always something that happens, or something that I see that makes me wonder about people all over again.
The thing about posters at RCMB is that they run around telling everyone they got their grade 6, but nobody remembers them in grade 6...we remember them in grade 5, though.
whats there to make fun of for brian and mgoblog? he only runs (arguably) the most popular and most successful team specific blog on the internet. they can keep dumping excessive amounts of emoticons over there in derpland for all I care. mgoblog >>>> RCMB
My brother/brother-in-law/sister-in-law all Spartans, they only come out of the closet when they win, I'm a Knuckle Dragging Lifer Gunnersmate and I can't stand the Derp over there.
and they have no clue...they're even laughing at Mike Hart and his new "grunt job" at EMU, referring to them as MSU's "little brother". Of course, Mike doesn't "need" that job right now, but he's smart and planning for his future by learning the coaching business from the ground up. Everyone knows what Mike wants to do when playing is completely over (which is probably not quite, yet) and to start out this way actually takes a few brains and dedication. Maybe Sparty fans can learn something from Mike because some day he'll be smacking them down as a head coach somewhere, maybe even in AA.
Considering he never lost to MSU, and he played in all four games. I'd say that's called "owning" your opponent.
The guy who wrote "Purdont" has had his account since 2008. He wasn't new -- the guy just made a mistake one time (then got assy about it).
Don't feed the animals.
Honestly, reading RCMB will just give you online herpes, you're better off just staying away.
People who ran over to see what's going on at RCMB will being pissed at the MSU Football banner ads appearing on their MGoBlog pages. That's a severe form of online herpes in my book.
Saw this on the ESPN B10 Blog... Interview with Jerel Worth, regarding the spartan/wolverine tattoo.
What's the story behind the tattoo?
JW: It was just an idea. We were chilling one day, and I came up with I wanted to get a Spartan tattoo to represent my school, and my dislike for the school down the road. I didn't want it to go down as negative message toward anybody. Just wanted to show the love I had for my school. I told my tattoo artist and he sketched it up, and I enjoyed it.
Where did you have it done?
JW: I had it done in Ann Arbor, at my friend's house. We were all hanging out, relaxing and barbecuing, and we were all getting tattoos. A lot of people came up with their ideas, and that's what I came up with. And there it was.
So you did it in Ann Arbor?
JW: Yeah, unfortunately. That's where my guy was, and he was the best guy to do it. So it's cool.
Why does he hate Missouri? I guess that's down the road from East Lansing.
LOL, nice block M on the helmet.
