I've been critical of Johnny but this post was pure gold. It's good to have him aboard la revolucion.

There are others now, though. Ones with the courage to face these miserable times while I deify the flawed characters that are never coming back. Ones who played for us even when we weren’t ready for them yet. Ones who play with a broken wrist and flip through a stack of papers to keep from crying. I’m sorry it took me so long. I know you’ve already been here a while. As usual, Johnny knocks it out of the park.

I'll repost what I posted over there: Johnny that was beautiful. It's seriously great to have you back. I think I speak for everyone when I say that your writing is great and that you have come around on these players. Because while we all loved Little Mikey and Chad and all the rest players will come in and out of Michigan and they will leave their mark but Michigan will always be Michigan and the block M that they play(ed) for will always be there and will always be the same. These kids don't and shouldn't play for the fans, they shouldn't play for a coach, they should play for the maize and blue and most importantly themselves. Again great to have your thoughts Johnny.
