"According to Tom VH's twitter He's" Holy crap! Jesus has turned down what was thought to be his obvious leader, ND, and is now down to Michigan and Rutgers? Signing day surprises get crazier every year!!!

I know we are to keep religion off the board but... Jesus wasn't catholic was he? With the state of there program, I see him going to TCU don't you? Besides didn't he just finish up at Florida and wasn't he just spotted shirtless at the senior bowl?

I wasn't trying to make a religious statement. I go to ND law, as I have said many times, and ND fans truly seem to think that God is on the side of their football team, I was merely making a joke and didn't mean to offend anyone if my negging is a sign of my having offended anyone.

have preferred Knarker? or Pight? Although Knightparker does sound like a Valet driver. Never really see Valet drivers during the day. Unless of course you live in LA where there is Valet at Starbucks and Target. If throwing touchdowns was illegal and getting interceptions got people arrested than I guess Knarker would work.

It clearly has something to do with him being afraid of competing with Ray Vinopal, who has already brought a ton of grit, competitiveness, and can-do attitude to our program.

before his UM visit he and his parents were favoring Rutgers and Ole Miss for various reason. then he visited UM and was blown away and rumors were UM was in the lead. however, he still goes on the rutgers visit THEN shuts down his recruitment. i'm thinking rutgers may have somehow won this battle based on the fact he decided not to take a visit after rutgers, but did take a visit after UM. however, this is an 18 yr old kid so who the hell knows.

...unfortunately. To compare New Brunswick in any way to a college town is preposterous. The place is a dump. And I say that with a completely straight face. It's run down, tons of unemployment, boarded up buildings, folks just hanging out on street corners. There is no campus business/entertainment district at all. It's Youngstown without the charm.

When exactly did you live in New Jersey, like 20-30 years ago? Because everything you said was false. "Run down" - Almost the entire downtown area is brand new, including a new hotel, new restaurants, new luxury condos, and a new Rutgers apartment-style dorms. Also they are about to build The Rutgers Gateway around the train station, which will include some Rutgers facilities, a movie theatre, and lots of shopping. Everything I've mentioned is adjacent to or 5-10 minute walk from campus. "Tons of unemployment" - New Brunswick is home to 2 of the largest employers in New Jersey - Rutgers (duh) and Johnson & Johnson. I don't think someone from Michigan is in a place to talk unemployment... "No business/entertainment district at all" - No, only the State Theatre of New Jersey plus 2 other theatres next door. comedy clubs with New York A-listers, the Zimmerli art museum, plus Rutgers' Mason Gross arts school, which is one of the top 5 fine arts schools in the nation.

Although most of Rutgers' FL recruits are from Miami and surrounding areas (and not Jacksonville), they seem to get lots of players from Florida. Here is a map. On the other hand, they haven't had a 4-star (according to Rivals) recruit from FL commit since 2002. Hopefully this favors us.

but....Stevie Brown (**** S) , Mouton (****1/2 S) , Mike Williams (****), Brandon Smith (****),and Boubacar (****) prove that nothings guaranteed. Granted, BooBoo has his own problems off the field but even so he seemed o regress last yr. Stevie and Mouton were moved to linebacker but Brown was basically the equivalent to Williams prior to last yr, which is not meant as a compliment. So...as much as I'd love to believe Turner, Emilien, Christian, and unnamed safety commit will solidify our secondary I'll believe it when I see it.

you forgot: Ray Vinopal Carvin Johnson Terrence Talbott Courtney Avery and Marvin Robinson plus, the possible additions of Sean Parker and Rashad Knight. Tell me again why you don't think 9-11 additions to the secondary (along with 2 commits in 2011 already in the bag) won't "Solidify the secondary...."
