but i am not sure that the most egregious of borges' issues that would necessarily equal an automatic michigan win.
December 19th, 2012 at 10:38 AM ^
...cuz its true.
But to calibrate this thought, generally speaking, Ohio fans were more afraid of what RR could do than what Hoke will do. So yea, they isn't smart.
December 19th, 2012 at 1:04 PM ^
I found out the other day that we're all upset at every RR win in Arizona, so maybe Ohioans are smart.

My deep thoughts on the name "11 Warriors" still stands: The name makes no sense. Are only 1/2 (actually less than that if you count special teams) of the starters considered "warriors" by their standards?
December 19th, 2012 at 11:04 AM ^
Maybe they transform into warriors when entering the playing field during a game and return to a normal, civil state after leaving the playing field.
December 19th, 2012 at 11:23 AM ^
Ahhhh! That could be it! So all Ohio guys are warriors at one point or another, just not at all times? That makes sense. But its still dumb. Why would that blog discriminate against players that are on the sidelines? And what about "scrubs" that never see the field? Do they never get to be a "warrior" according to the site?
December 19th, 2012 at 11:17 AM ^
Ehhh.... There are a lot of things to rip on Buckeyes for but this isn't it. In football you almost always refer to the people currently on the field (i.e. the Seattle Seahawks stadium touts their 12th man advantage, not their 23rd man or more if you include special teams).

You should change your name to MGoPartyPooper.

I agree and think 22 rednecks and a hypochondriac would have been more fitting but maybe a little too long?

I got 99 problems, but 11 Warriors ain't one.

Ohio AD Gene Smith for keeping a 12-0 Olieo out of a BCS bowl! that 6-6 bowl last year was WAYYYYYYY more important
December 19th, 2012 at 11:59 AM ^
I don't give a fuck what Ohio fans have to say, and I certainly don't want to read about it on MGoblog.
December 19th, 2012 at 12:28 PM ^
Understood. But its a respected "competitor" blog and the tweet was actually pretty funny, so it shall stand.
December 19th, 2012 at 1:24 PM ^
Not sure why a comment from an Ohio fan criticizing our coach is funny to you, but ok, to each their own.
December 19th, 2012 at 1:47 PM ^
Because it is true.

Amen brother. And its posts like these that made me install the "stop forcing me to read posts I'm not interested in" button on my keyboard. Before i was forced into reading things I wasnt interested in just like you. And, just like you, it made me so mad that I had to find a way to get out of it.
So the "stop forcing me to read posts I'm not interested in" button, when engaged, gives me the free will I ordinarily dont have to not read something. I'm not sure exactly how it works but man is it a time saver!
December 19th, 2012 at 1:25 PM ^
Great, and it would be nice if the post was titled apropriately, Ramzy the Ohio blog guy says something about Michigan and Al Borges on twitter, then I can chose not to read it, as I would know I am not interested.
December 19th, 2012 at 1:59 PM ^
I hear over at raiderblueblog.com they have content that will surely do nothing but appease your interests and never waste a few seconds of your precious time. Enjoy.
December 19th, 2012 at 2:18 PM ^
Exactly, why would I care about Kermit's interests?
December 19th, 2012 at 3:37 PM ^
.....I can purchase a "stop forcing me to look at tacky wife avatar" button/filter?
December 19th, 2012 at 4:54 PM ^
Now that wasn't very nice.

You can no longer talk recruiting without being a creep. I've never heard of this Ramzy guy, probably won't remember his name, but hes an Ohio fan, thats all I need to know.

So is it easier to win Person of the Year or the Noble Peace Prize? Borges could've won either... at least he did something.

I'm gonna say Person of the Year. Especially the 11 Warriors Person of the Year, since the bar is set at "ties shoes correctly in at least 3 out of 5 attempts".
