I have to admit, this tweet made me laugh....

Ramzy, he funny...
So true we gave that game to Ohio.
This is not post worthy, dead period or not.
I was on the fence about posting, but it seems like we're weak on content lately.
your mother
I nominate Jim Tressel for MGoBlog's person of the year.
Not everybody is the perfect person in the world. Everyone does — kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me.
Plus, he was one of the people who actually caused the shit to go down for ohio (as opposed to Tressel, who was guilty of the coverup, not the original crime)
But if Tressel disciplines TP when he finds out about it, I'd wager there's no bowl ban, and who knows if voters would have put OSU in the BCS championship in that case?
I can't fathom a worse scenario for a Michigan fan than a ND/OSU championship game.
Ohio state Michigan state is worse.
Worse, yes, but unrealistic. Michigan State will obviously never contend for a national title.
Recycle an old dantonio quote when I say they won't be in the title game because when they look down at their feet, they will be standing in the rose bowl in 5 years. By the way, I think dantonio might not have ended up keeping that promise
It's year six of the Dantonio era and they just sqeaked by Minnesota to gain bowl elidgibility in week thirteen. So... yeah, I think you're correct.
Gene Smith, AD ohio....Yeah, this arrogant schmuck was hell bent on wanting to go to a bowl game last year and because of that decision, they hosed themselves this year. I remember I was hoping he would do that so that they wouldn't be able to go to a bowl this year and he might've screwed them out of a chance to play ND for BCS, can you imagine us having to watch that potential game? Thanks Gene, for sparing us that fate.
Tressel and Pryor are 2 & 3 behind Smith for me, just remember to use your turn signal and stop and look before turning right on red, TP, how's that NFL Career going for ya?
Can't come soon enough. God make it stop!.
Gotta love the "this thread sucks so I'm going to comment in it and bring it to the top of the board people"
This is good logic, actually. The higher it goes, the more notice the Mods will pay to it. This increases the odds that JGB will punt it into oblivion or bolivian. His choice.
What about me? Aren't I good enough to moderate this thread?
On second thought, don't answer that.
Absolutely you are. If I say something really racist will you promise to delete the whole thread?
That's Racist!
Whoops, it just advanced to actually racist there.
Sometimes drastic measures must be taken for the greater good. Plus, if I don't live up to the "moderators are Nazi censors" meme then how else will people be able to badmouth me?
On second thought, don't answer that question either.
LOL BATTLEFIELD!! COD BRO!
Battlefield = teamwork and strategy
COD = run and gun, "hey, look at my K/D, bro!"
Contra or nothing. A little Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A, Select, Start and a few multishot or laser powerups and I was home free. Plus, since it was side scrolling, I didn't get motion sick.
/get off my lawn
I used to play the hell out of that game. In fact, I have one of those padlocks that you can program directionally and I used that up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right as the combination.
(please don't come to my house and steal the sh-t in our crawl space)
I was joking, man. Since you're into strategy though, have you checked out America's Army? It's really strategy/teamwork based and free!
I know, I was just trying to have a go at the BF3 vs. COD war.
Never have. Unfortunately, I play on PS3 and not PC. But I've been considering making the change except that next year when the next generation consoles come out they are supposed to be closer to PC gaming. Not sure what to do.
But those runners and gunners with a sweet K/D are good teammates and strategists!
Maybe the tweet isn't post worthy. It does, however, have two things in its favor:
Thing 1: It is not about uniformz.
Thing 2: It is probably one of the truest things ever written by anyone associated with 11 Warriors.
So say we all.
That's not saying much, considering almost everyone around here agrees with pretty much everything that 'Shoe has to say. That's why he was so missed when he rage quit for a while.
You think that is funny? Check out this morning's exchange between @justcoverblog and @KJatTOC.
I love Twitter.
please enlighten us...link or it didn't happen
jamie mac @justcoverblog
As a native of NW Ohio, when in the heck did playing at BGSU become tough and something only crazy coaches do? It is not #narrative
jamie mac @justcoverblog
More people go to the BG High School Bobcat games than the Falcons. Kudos for playing on the road, but lets stop exaggerating #narrative
jamie mac @justcoverblog
Also, that critique is aimed at the national media, not MSU bloggers
jamie mac @justcoverblog
You dont just walk into the Strohs Center and win. Unless you're Ball St, Toledo, Western Mich, Ohio, Akron, Kent St.......
KJ @KJatTOC
@justcoverblog To be fair, playing nonconference road games in half-full arenas used to be good preparation for playing at Crisler Arena.
jamie mac @justcoverblog
@KJatTOC That's awesome. You're on your A-game pretty early in the morning
But methinks ND (and perhaps even Nebraska) could post this as well.
So we're really all upset because the existence of our offensive coordinator is a source of joy for Ohio fans, right?
A James Tressel comes to mind...
but i am not sure that the most egregious of borges' issues that would necessarily equal an automatic michigan win.
...cuz its true.
But to calibrate this thought, generally speaking, Ohio fans were more afraid of what RR could do than what Hoke will do. So yea, they isn't smart.
I found out the other day that we're all upset at every RR win in Arizona, so maybe Ohioans are smart.
A thread recapping rcmb. Quick. Hurry!
My deep thoughts on the name "11 Warriors" still stands: The name makes no sense. Are only 1/2 (actually less than that if you count special teams) of the starters considered "warriors" by their standards?
Maybe they transform into warriors when entering the playing field during a game and return to a normal, civil state after leaving the playing field.
Ahhhh! That could be it! So all Ohio guys are warriors at one point or another, just not at all times? That makes sense. But its still dumb. Why would that blog discriminate against players that are on the sidelines? And what about "scrubs" that never see the field? Do they never get to be a "warrior" according to the site?
Ehhh.... There are a lot of things to rip on Buckeyes for but this isn't it. In football you almost always refer to the people currently on the field (i.e. the Seattle Seahawks stadium touts their 12th man advantage, not their 23rd man or more if you include special teams).
You should change your name to MGoPartyPooper.
Also, at the time the song was written, pretty much everyone played both ways. Single-platoon football man, catch the fever!
Clearly it should be "One Alum and Ten Truck Drivers".
Just abbreviate it--"22 RAAH"
Has a nice, team-spirit ring.
I got 99 problems, but 11 Warriors ain't one.
were free cookies in this thread - anybody know where?
God damnit Al Borges. Iowa is not THE GAME.
World English Dictionary
Borges ( Spanish ˈborxes)
— n
Jorge Luis (ˈxorxe lwis). 1899--1986, Argentinian poet, short-story writer, and literary scholar. The short stories collected in Ficciones (1944) he described as "games with infinity"
Ohio AD Gene Smith for keeping a 12-0 Olieo out of a BCS bowl! that 6-6 bowl last year was WAYYYYYYY more important
Understood. But its a respected "competitor" blog and the tweet was actually pretty funny, so it shall stand.
Because it is true.
Amen brother. And its posts like these that made me install the "stop forcing me to read posts I'm not interested in" button on my keyboard. Before i was forced into reading things I wasnt interested in just like you. And, just like you, it made me so mad that I had to find a way to get out of it.
So the "stop forcing me to read posts I'm not interested in" button, when engaged, gives me the free will I ordinarily dont have to not read something. I'm not sure exactly how it works but man is it a time saver!
I hear over at raiderblueblog.com they have content that will surely do nothing but appease your interests and never waste a few seconds of your precious time. Enjoy.
.....I can purchase a "stop forcing me to look at tacky wife avatar" button/filter?
You can no longer talk recruiting without being a creep. I've never heard of this Ramzy guy, probably won't remember his name, but hes an Ohio fan, thats all I need to know.
So is it easier to win Person of the Year or the Noble Peace Prize? Borges could've won either... at least he did something.
~Herm
I'm gonna say Person of the Year. Especially the 11 Warriors Person of the Year, since the bar is set at "ties shoes correctly in at least 3 out of 5 attempts".
Whatever. Borges is one-for-two against them. Sucked this year, but 460 yards in 10 drives won us the 2011 game (with our defense struggling).
No. There was no excuse for what happened in the 2nd half in Columbus this year. Denard at QB = Run. What the F happened to the Iowa gameplan? So frustrating every time I think about that game and such a shame that we could have ruined OSUs undefeated season if it wasn't for our soft-headed OC.
At least once a day I cringe inside, swear, and then think about what an idiotic gameplan that was in the 2nd half. We gave that game to them, we couldn't score 1 fricken TD on that defense? That was total horse-shit, most disappointed by far I've been since hoke has been coach. To even think that that team has bragging rights again just irritates the hell out of me.
