I am the guy on this blog that does not bring much confrontation to the site. So most of my posts are sentimental and/or personal stories. I post because I enjoy the sense of community. Once in awhile I will chime in on a hot topic but mostly for a cheap one-liner that really isn't funny. With all that being said expect more of the same with this post. I am going to throw something out there that we all can relate to. Does everyone remember that feeling(see fan in helmet of attached link)when we were coming back on Wisconsin. The underdog, rising feeling? That feeling of, "We can do what we want when this thing clicks!". Well, we will see a lot of that this Saturday. Not so much the COMEBACK feeling, but the feeling of this is working and will work and we are a MACHINE. Good things will happen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8vuQzPj8WM&feat Can you relate? EDIT: Would a psych major please inform me why I felt compelled to write that first paragraph? I re-read it and it was a waste of space. Not applicable to anything, sorry.

However, i don't think it will be this year. I think i will have that feeling 100 times more this season than i did last season, but it will be at least another year before we are a machine.

I remember last year at the ND game. It was 28-17 at the half and we had lost those 2 horrible fumbles. But, we had moved the ball. I was not worried at all. I was positive we would win the game. Then, the skies opened up, the torrential rains came, and there was just no way.

it was almost a feeling that our offense is unstoppable when we execute. I never had that feeling under Carr. Whenever the offense would start rolling I would become fearful of the run, run, pass. I hope to have that feeling quite a bit this saturday. I'm really trying to contain my excitement since the last two openers have been such downers but I can't. I love this team. I am a huge RichRod fan. I think we are putting the pieces together to be dominant, and we could very well see that in 3 days. GO BLUE!
