acknowledging how good a player he was? Why would a true Michigan fan tell the honest truth about a Buckeye, after all. Damn, this board must be ALL Buckeye fans. I've been a Michigan fan since 1969, dude. Sat in section 20 every game for 25 years. Section 60 of Crisler starting in '72. You?

MEYER

"He turns a high percentage of elite recruits into elite players, and does it quickly. It doesn't take him four years to get top notch recruits contributing at a starting level."

OSU is beating us every year.  A three star recruit and Meyer turns him into an All-American and high first round pick after his second year on the field.  We haven't seen that kind of player development in a long time, if ever.

HARBAUGH

It does not look like we'll be anywhere close to that in Harbaugh's third year. It's going to
be four or five years at least before we have a championship level team. That's a long time for someone who is supposed to be an elite coach.

The guy he replaced was Curtis Grant, former #2 overall recruit and he was a bust. McMillen was listed as a co-starter by the end of the year(his true freshmen year). Grant was a liability against the pass and almost a wash against the run, so not sure who said that exactly but he/she was incorrect.

I hate to compliment Buckeyes but that guy was damn good.

May he have a long and prosperous career in the pros.  I wouldn't mind if he was the second coming of Chris Spielman for the Lions.
