Kyle Meinke serves up a nice bag o' soundbites from the Outback Bowl.  He did a great job picking out quotes.  My two favorites?

"If you look at him from the back, he definitely looks like a very strong woman. He has very pretty hair." -- Defensive end Craig Roh, on linebacker Jake Ryan.
"It's hard out here. I done fought two sharks, wrestled a sting ray, ate two crabs -- had butter out there. It's hard out here, but you know how we do it. I'm from Detroit. You know, it was nothing. Two great whites, punched a whale in the face -- easy day. Go Blue." -- Defensive tackle Will Campbell, speaking with MGoBlue about a trip to the beach. [Saw this one on MGoBlue.com, but it's even better in print.]

Gonna miss Team 133!

The article has many more funny and interesting quotes, predominantly from Michigan but with a bit of Gamecockery sprinkled in.  Credit to Meinke for having a good ear for this stuff.

[Ed. Fixed erroneous references to "Citrus Bowl"]

So what did the Nebraska players have to say about their Citrus Bowl experience?

If you're going to include the wrong name of the bowl in the title, can you at least make it the Rose Bowl?

It reminds me of the of the following from Homer Simpson:

And on my free African Safari I want to do everything on this box! I want to shoot a Lion in the face, fight Muhammed Ali, and ride in a convertable with two happy zebras.

Kind of off topic, but speaking of quotes, I was just watching Shane in an accuracy challenge on ESPN U down in Florida with the under armour game players, and during a poor performance you could hear him drop the F bomb into his microphone. I prolly would have said the same thing after that though. He didn't do as well as he would have liked.

That's the funny thing about quotes, I suppose - the wording tends to be the same!  As a point of order, the BWC quote above is a direct cut and paste from Meinke's article.  Might want to send your internet squad car his way.

In the meantime, kudos for your prior write-up a wonderful quote from BWC.  You know a great quote when you hear it.
