But since they do not appear to be using Hemingway in any substantial form, does it really matter that much?
Note, however, that I would really have liked to see more of him at use in the O.

WTF was Warren doing on that play? I didn't catch the replay but he looked like he basically dove into Junior, and I can't think of any possible explanation for that . . . was he pushed into him?

he was blocked into him.

The PSU player pushed Warren in the back and he tumbled into Hemingway. Not much Warren could do...

My question is why wasn't the penalty called for the block in the back? Seemed pretty obvious penalty to me, but Millen said that there was a push, but that Warren stumbled on his own. Was that it, or did the refs simply miss it?

Once the ball is kicked, Warren (and the rest of the return team) become the offense. Because of that, the PSU gunner is no longer considered a "blocker" and therefore can't be called for blocking in the back.
It was actually kind of a smart play on the PSU player's part, because it could have very easily resulted in a muffed punt...although it's kind of a dirty play, too.

That's not exactly true. The officials do have the discretion to call interference with the catch if it's a direct push of the blocker into the punt returner. IMO it should have been called but I can see how it wasn't as Warren stumbled.

Warren was pushed.

A push in the back by the punting team can, and often is called when it is deliberate. It looked deliberate. It probably should have been called. I can only assume the ref down there didn't see it happen the same way I did.

Hemingway said he will play next week. It was in the paper this morning.

That's good to hear. When I saw it at the game I was very, very worried for his ACL.

Here's Hemingway's quote from after the game:
"I guess he got pushed into me," Hemingway said. "It was the knee. I'll be playing next week."

to those that responded. It looked like a knee; I'm glad to hear it wasn't too serious.

That is great news. I'm glad to hear that Hemingway is okay and will play this week.

Me too. That injury looked a lot worse than it really was. When I saw the replay, I thought his season was over.
