quick question on Front-butt.

Submitted by foreverbluemaize on
I was out of town all weekend. Unable to keep up with the whole "to fire Front-butt or not to fire Front-butt". I was just curious if anything has happened or been decided. My sincerest apologies if this has been covered. If it has a quick link would be appreciated so I can catch up. Thank you.

In the timeless words of John McEnroe, "You cannot be serious!" You didn't just start a thread asking for an update about information blatantly posted all over the blog, did you? Do your own homework.

... I thought you might have searched for "front butt" or "Charlie Fupa." When in doubt on the interweb, use google, specifically Google News for breaking items. It is updated 24/7/365 by computers who will some day take over our lives. For example, try this: http://news.google.com/news/search?aq=0z&pz=1&cf=all&ned=us&hl=en&q=cha… Much better than random posts on a University of Michigan message board...

According to ESPN coverage (TV), they're deciding his fate now and they'll probably announce one way or another this week. Also, lots of speculation about replacements from Bob Stoops to Brian Billick. Oh, and Charlie is still fat.

The number of existing threads on this is only exceeded by the number of rolls Charlie has. Seriously man, there's like half a dozen. It doesn't even require a search, just a quick browsing of the first page of threads. It's a foregone conclusion he's gone though.

MGoBlog seems to turn into an elementary school playground when it comes to Charlie Weis. Yes, we know he's fat. It's actually not funny unless you have the maturity level of a 13-year-old boy.

My tagline is just a joke...it's not a put-down of someone based on their physical characteristics. I'm all for making fun of Charlie, fat jokes are just kinda cruel though. Immaturity is one thing (I don't mind it at all). Immaturity at the expense of others in this way is another thing. That's the difference. I really don't care that much. The Charlie fat jokes have just really gotten old though.

but his offense appeared lethal against Stanford. I know there is a lot talent, but still he does push some good buttons on offense. Although I know that as a head coach, he leaves a lot to be desired, I hope he stays in college football as an offensive coordinator, though that seems unlikely.

If(when) he is fired from ND, I would bet that he will be with an NFL staff in some capacity by next year and that he will again be an offensive coordinator in the league. I actually do hope that he stays in college football, just not on the big stage so to speak.
