Holy shit.
Good grief Misopogon, this is AWESOME work.
Thanks Misopogon!
I think we just found our pre-band halftime entertainment for UM-OSU 2011.
I kind of want to put that as my avatar, but Idk if I want to take it like that. Also, don't really know how to make that my avatar.
Now I've gotta make one at home. I've got an idea now!
That is truly a work of art. I can't stop watching.
add in some blood.
Agree it does need a little more blood ala Mortal Combat, but this is easily the mightiest thing on teh webz I'll see in a month.
A tip of the cap to you Misopogon!
This could make LSUFreek jealous.
This avatar is too awesome to pass up. 1,000 thank you's are sent your way Misopogon.
Cmon man..show some class :-)
Yeah, but it's way better when there are two of them right next to each other.
Everyone should make this their avatar. MGoEpilepsy.
If one of you wants this one:
1. That is awesome.
2. I hate the .gif avatars. It's so distracting.
+1000
“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
" I fear not the man who as practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times."
That is fantastic! Now, you need to make one with Chuck Norris!
Blood and brains exploding from Dantonio's head is anatomically incorrect. Please replace with an exploding shithead.
just to upvote the op
How do you guys make these? Just piece pictures together like a flipbook, or what?
Some are simple, whereby you'd have to edit each photo completely in another editor, and then it will just assemble the frames, and some are practically complete film studios. Most fall somewhere in between though, allowing you to adjust timing, add text and certain basic shapes and lighting effects, etcetera, but requiring that your frames be mostly complete before importing.
I use Animation Shop Pro 3 which came with JASC Paintshop Pro 8.0 which I bought WAY back in the day, but is still able to do most everything I want to do.
I'm not very skilled with photoshop programs and the like, but I'd definitely be interested in learning some of the simpler stuff. I have a mac. Any suggestions on sites to learn some basics?
That's one way, but I figured they did something more involved than that.
it's free.
it works.
Now THIS is the way to waste time.
Basically I wanted to see Brutus' head coming forward hard before he hurtles offscreen. I added two frames and slowed the kick sequence down just a tad. Not sure in the end if it adds anything to Misopogan's LSU-freakesque masterpiece. And yeah, I used the GIMP too.
Mr. Lee's facial expression of rage and disgust is perfect.
Excellent work, an absolute masterpiece.
If anyone is itching for a great Kung Fu style movie, check out Ip Man and Ip Man 2 (you can find web versions). It chronicles the life of Master Yip (Ip Man is the translation) who taught Bruce Lee the style of Wing Chun.
The Crippled Masters. It's pretty much a must-see flick. It's about two dudes; One without the use of his arms. The other, without the use of his legs...and together, they kick able- bodied ass all over the Chinese countryside.
