The Center for Campus Involvement will host a viewing party for the season opener at Michigan Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 1 as part of its Welcome to Michigan program. The event will feature the game displayed on the videoboards, activities on the field and tours of the stadium. It will run from 6-11:30 p.m. and will be open to all students, with a valid Mcard needed for entry.

I plan on going, but I have no idea how to get there (inside). It says students are going to enter through the tunnel, but how many people know how to get there? I'll probably just bum around the east side of the stadium until I see a large group of people

Walk around the stadium until you see the tunnel. You can't miss it.
Watching the Michigan-Alabama game from the field of the Big House sounds amazing! I wish I was still a student. I would definitely be there! Hell, if I was in Ann Arbor at all I would try to sneak in with my old MCard!

Thanks, I've never really been on the Eastern side of the stadium (too poor for the expensive tailgating) so my knowledge of there is kaput

This is the first time I have heard anything about this.
If I was in Ann Arbor I would probably go. Although the atmosphere at Charlie's or the Jug will be awesome as well.
I wonder if ESPN will have cameras there, assuming this is actually happening.

I don't know if ESPN will have cameras there, but I've heard the student viewing party may be connected to the tailgate in Dallas via videochat.

I'll be there for sure.
