Question for current MMB, gameday schedule & Victors Walk

Submitted by ameed on
Question for the MMB'ers. What time is the Victors Walk this week? I remember hearing it is usually 2 hours before, so does that make it 1:30 or does the late start change the schedule at all? What time is the full MMB rehearsal on Saturday, is the schedule altered for late start? Thanks

I am a moron, I should have posted this later tonight because the Band is probably rehearsing right now. The Band will clock more than 20 hours this week, if Rosenberg is out there reading and wants to get in touch with the NCAA, btw.

Based on the band week schedule, I count about 56 hours of scheduled rehearsal/performance time this week. Granted, we don't have classes right now. But if you were to poll the band members I guarantee most would not call it "excessive" or "absurd" or any such things. It's taxing, sure. But it's what we need to do to get ready for Saturday. Everyone knows that getting to the level we expect requires a lot of work on or part. And we are happy to put in the work, because come Saturday, we get to pour out of that tunnel and play for the greatest team and crowd all of sports. And there is no feeling in the world that can replicate that.

never been to the victor's walk. I would kind of like to, but I don't think we are going to get there early enough. I'd just like to see it once mostly to see what it's all about and just say that I've seen it.

Victors Walk = 2 hours prior to whatever time kickoff is, so 1:30pm this Saturday. Then walk to Revelli Hall for the Drumline Stepshow 90 minutes prior to kickoff - and then march back to the stadium with the full MMB. All In For Michigan - GO BLUE !!

Morning rehearsal should be 10 to noon-ish on Elbel. Drumline Stepshow at 2:00 (always 90 min. before kickoff), followed by step-off around 2:30. I'm not sure on the Victors walk, as I've never done it. I'll ask around at rehearsal tonight, but I'd guess it's on the same schedule as last year.
