Question about seating at Orange Bowl

Submitted by josejose50 on

Wasnt able to get tickets in time through the AD or the Alumni Association so I'm going the stub hub route. I'm trying to figure out what area of the stadium is supposed to be for the Michigan allotment. I've seen both the NE and NW corners of the stadium on different websites but nothing definitive. Which one of the two is it?

Thanks for your help!

Have you looked a ViewFromMySeat and the 2-3 other options to view a game from any seat?

That's the best way, IMO, because if the picture is during the game you can see exactly what you can expect when you go.

I've only been once and it was for a concert, but I often use those online resources when purchasing tickets from StubHub, SeatGeek, or Vivid Seats.

The Michigan Insider email (the "official" email of @UMichAthletics) has us in the Northwest corner:

Ticket prices are $120. Our ticket allotment is located in the northwest corner of Hard Rock Stadium.

The follow up email won't come until the 15th most likely.  According to the email, we are supposed to be able to login to our account and see our seat assignments at 5PM EST today. As of this post, I still don't have the Orange Bowl listed under Order History. Has anyone else had their seats assigned yet?

Why not just purchase the best seat(s) in terms of overall field visibility? Of course, this assumes that one is more interested in seeing the game vs seeing/being part of the party. I'd rather save the celebration for the win, post game. Go Blue!

Not sure this was thread worthy, so will post here because I haven't seen it discussed elsewhere:

Is the Zika threat in South Florida impacting anyone's decision to attend the Orange Bowl?

SE corner lower bowl 10 minutes after the matchup was announced on Stub Hub. I understand the Michigan allotment was in the NW corner. I wanted to get the best/cheapest lower bowl seats I could find. I didn't want to wait. I think I was pretty lucky.
