Question about posting to site using the MGoBlog App

Reaching out to see if any other users have experienced - or are experiencing - this problem...

I consume the majority of my MGoBlog content using the app (on iPhone and / or iPad). Although I loved the HD app, I can appreciate there may have been business reasons to sunset its usage, and I am not advocating to bring it back.

Nevertheless, since I've fully transitioned back to the original app, I've noticed that my comments to front page material, forum topics, and diary posts do not actually post to the site when I use the app. I'll attempt to make a comment, draft a response, hit submit, and then - poof - nothing. The screen will refresh but the comment has not posted.

This has been an ongoing issue of mine for some months, and I've tried to reconcile it by deleting / re-downloading the app on both my iPhone and iPad, but nothing has worked. I am able to post from my desktop computer - just not the apps.

Have other users experienced this problem? If so, has anyone resolved the issue? Any thoughts or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

My app crashed when I posted, so I stopped using it a long time ago. I normally use my web brower to post and the app to see what's going on.

Yes, I've experienced the same ever since the HD went away and I went back to the original app. Man, I miss the HD app. It was incredible.

Aren't they going to update everything in less than a month or so? I'm not on the app anymore but I would think a lot of problems will be resolved before the season starts. Then again, we've all said that before.

I'm eagerly awaiting the meltdown of when the new site/app isn't delivered by start of season as promised, or has a bunch of bugs and the masses will blame Brian for writing about politics instead.

I have the same problem, so I mostly just use the full site on my phone. The new app is supposed to be coming soon.

Is absolute garbage. Cant post comments from it, cant create content from it and to be honest - I'm not sure what it's suppose to do as even reading from it is a pain the way it's formatted. And god help us if East German Judge posts a picture in a thread - all you'll see is 14 pages of code.

I personally think it's a test. See just how much pain we'll endure before shutting it off. I finally gave up and just use the full desktop version on my phone like Magnus - I couldnt take it anymore.

I've had Android phones for the last 5 years. Haven't gotten a single virus.

If you're doing dumb things with your smart phone, you'll get a virus whether you're using an Android or iPhone.

I found you can usually post 1 reply. You then need to close the app out fully and then reopen it and relogin. It is a pain in the ass, so I have begun to just use safari and pull up the web site. Not as convenient, but such is life.
