QB Depth Chart Today

For whatever it's worth, Joe Schad tweeted that Denard will be starting (no surprise), followed by Gardner second, and Tate third.  Take it for what it's worth, a tweet from a ESPN reporter.  Would anyone here be concerned if Gardner got in before Tate, given some of the mistakes we've seen Gardner make in the fall scrimmage?

I believe would be a huge mistake. Now coach is the coach, but you don't play a true Fr before Tate who has 12 games under his belt. Thats asking to lose this game. Never believe anything from ESPN.

At the pont Tate handed OSU a cheap touchdown to start the game, I deciided he had not learned all that much from his playing time.    And he seems to have slacked off, believing the job was his, while two superior talents bused their humps.   that alone is a textbook map to third string.

I really want to see what Forcier can do this year even if he is just a second string. He had to have improved some over last year right? If the offensive line is better, and Forcier is even slightly better, he should be pretty effective. I really don't want to go through the growing pains of another Frosh QB.

I've never seen something like this before where a starter loses his job and the backup job to a true freshman.  Whatever has happened in the offseason, it's sure going to be interesting to see how it all translates on the field.

Then again, from the academic issues last year, to being publicly reprimanded by teammates and the helmet incident, I guess we shouldn't be surprised.

I'm not buying into this.  There have been comments recently from Steve Schilling that he is winning the respect back from his teammates and that he's been working hard.  You don't move down to the third string with a Freshman in front after starting the whole season.  I've never heard of that.

I've seen zero practices, therefore I'll have to trust whomever the guys that get paid a ton of money to make these decisions puts in there.  I'm supporting all 3 of them; win, lose, or draw
