Q-Wash Not Playing Much Tonight?

Submitted by MJ14 on

Nothing definite, but I wouldn't be surprised if Quinton Washington didn't play much, if at all, tonight.

Don't panic: Michigan's going to be in the nickel for most of the game anyway, so Pipkins should be able to pick up the slack.

Just read this on twitter. Anybody happen to know what's up with this?

Balas had a separate tweet earlier about an offensive player being unavailable for the game, but it would only affect depth.  I have to think that Reynolds isn't fully back up to speed?  Or Funchess' groin is still hurting (but that would affect more than just depth).

Hope it isn't anything major.  Suspension would suck, but an injury would be worse.  My guess is that, given the defensive alignment, it might not be a huge loss.  Still weird.

After some digging on twitter it looks like he hurt his ankle in the game last week. Sounds like he could play but may not be as effective. With "PIMPKINS" behind him not as effective likely means currently not the best option at the position.

My point here isn't threadworthy, so I'll post it in this thread. Is there anything more astounding than the fecundity of Mrs. Bullough? How many of these creatures has this woman produced? There seems to be a neverending supply of buzz-cutted meathead Bulloughs just waiting to restock the MSU offensive and defensive backfields.
