There's only room for one of us.

Cotton Hill finds this video disappointingly misleading.

Was thinking the exact same thing

I'm regretting watching. so now what?
February 11th, 2011 at 7:02 PM ^
I regret watching it.

That was lame.

.......I know most of the people that made Zaragon Place a reality, and it doesn't shock me,given the price of a loft, that it was referenced here.
February 11th, 2011 at 8:00 PM ^
... you are the person who they pretend to be making fun of. I can picture a bunch of frat boys or sorority girls at some greek house talking about how funny that video was and how they were in it at min 2:12. Otherwise, it just reminds me why that scene didn't appeal to me except in very specific instances which involved naive college girls and the joy of the chase.

Liked the scenes and landmarks since I haven't been back for awhile. Otherwise meh. Or I'm too old
February 11th, 2011 at 8:57 PM ^
it really hasn't changed that much over the years.
February 11th, 2011 at 8:16 PM ^
Wait, what?
February 11th, 2011 at 9:46 PM ^
I get the sense that, for all the irony, those kids really are the douchebags they're poking fun at in the video.
So does the self-reflexivity mitigate the douchiness, or only make them look more narcissistic? Someone help here.
February 11th, 2011 at 10:26 PM ^
I think it's the latter. Douches gonna douche
February 12th, 2011 at 12:16 AM ^
From my experiences, most of these guys appear to be pretty big d-bags, but are surprisingly normal, decent people. If they really were true narcissists, I don't think it would have dawned on them to make a satirical video like this.
February 12th, 2011 at 10:11 AM ^
My neighbor is one of the kids who made this video. He is in no way a "douche", he just realizes he's part of something that can easily be made fun of and has no problem laughing at himself.
February 12th, 2011 at 11:50 AM ^
I guess I might be laughing if I wasn't wincing. They may have the ability to laugh at themselves now, but most of them will never change. They just go out and perpetuate the stereotype by living the lives their parents did and raising children to be just like them. As a Jew, this offends me. We're not all like this, not even close, and for that I am thankful.
February 12th, 2011 at 3:36 PM ^
I agree 100%. Whether or not these kids are what they appear to be in the video doesn't matter. They have to understand that if they claim Judaism then they claim everyone who is jewish. As someone of that persuasion this shit makes me sick. Granted I have a bias (I really hate greek life) but its really stuff like this that annoys me most. Alot of people on this campus have a negative view of us as is and then they start talking about their bmws and patron, they are an embarrassment to our people.
February 12th, 2011 at 8:46 AM ^
Maybe they were so good at parody, I thought they were being real...I just felt douche oozing from the screen.
February 12th, 2011 at 10:17 AM ^
I thought these kids were pretty funny. Of course they were making fun of themselves, if not they would be completely douchers.
