I seriously don't get why OT even matters at all.  Does the 3 seconds that it saves you from actually reading the thread title and determining if it interests you really make a difference?  For example, I see that Tigers/Rays thread below is OT - but I don't need that to know that the content doesn't relate to UofM sports

And I don't mean you personally - just a peeve of mine in general

I'm with you.  If the title is clearly OT then putting OT is redundant.  It drives me crazy when people go into the thread to state that it is OT, which is a bigger waste of time for everyone that reads that comment than the extra milisecond seeing OT might have saved someone that doesn't automatically read a short title anyway.

If the title is unclear or might be mistaken for being on-topic that's when the OT tag shoudl be used.

Danny can't catch a break.

Is there NO chance Marve is going to get DQ'd due to the Miami (YTM) mess?  I thought I saw Purdue say he's free and clear, but if he was taking improper benefits, that doesn't taint him the rest of his college career?  If Cam's dad was getting juiced for him to go to Auburn last year, he could have transferred again and played at the other place?  That doesn't seem legit to me... but oh well it IS the NCAA.

Point is, they are now one bad piece of news out of South Florida away from having NO legit quarterback.  (Of course that sounds familiar to us, circa 2008.)

Keep rockin' it, Brimley.   Don't let any vague resemblences to Danny Hope weigh you down.  Just keep eatin' your oatmeal and fighting diabetes.   Our country is a better place because of your gruff voice and flabby jowls.

Perry the ACL-ephant must have a penchant for guys named Rob that play for Purdue?  Hummel, Marve, and now Henry?  Good thing Rob Bolden went to Penn State I guess.

There has to some aspect of purdue's S&C program that is causing this rash of ACL injuries. Or perhaps players are showing up to training camp completely out of shape, which is what happened in the NFL after the lock out.
